We got a few inches nothing bad. My class that I teach was cancelled so that was nice. last night my cable and heat went out but both are fixed now. Today is work then going home. it is cold out. Worked out this morning

I've been lurking on this board too, mostly have been on the lapband board. I'm in Rockford and it was hard to get up the hill outside my house this morning. Other than that I've been inside at work all day. I hope the driveway is plowed when I get home. I guess it is supposed to snow again tomorrow. That's why I live here--i like the seasons! But I'll go to get some sun in January to make it through the gray!

Well I'm Glad you came out to post, birder.....And you live in my town?   I will say they did a good job plowing last night! I hope your driveway is plowed when you get home!   How you doing with your lapband?    Seems like we're getting more and more people on our Illinois board that have had lapband! Pam

Food is going fine. I have had one fill and don't feel much restriction but I can go back on the 18th and get another if I want. I have lost 43 lbs. and that is a thrill. Most people haven't noticed yet but I have a lot to lose and I could have lost a 100 and then people might start to notice. Of course, my friends know and are very supportive. How are you doing? I see we had our surgeries just a day apart. Connie

Hi everyone! I've had a busy 2 days! I went in for another fill yesterday and I've lost 6 more pounds in two weeks. Yay! It was so encouraging. Yesterday we bought Officemax brand compressed gas to clean our keyboards and I went around and did everyone's. Well this morning I woke up and had an allergic reaction to the bitterant they add to the gas (it keeps people from abusing it for drug use) I ended up having to leave work early to go to my primary care. I got a cortisone shot (ouch!) and a long list of anti histamines and skin creams so the swelling in my face goes down :(

Well, we have some newbies that have come out of the lurker's woodwork and said hello. Welcome to all of you we all are glad that you came on the roll call and introduced yourselves. We really enjoy newcomers to the board. We love having a well rounded group of board members to come in and say hello. If any of you ever have any questions come on in and ask away, someone will most likely will have an answer for you or will find the answer for you. Now we need to find some of or "lost: regular members. Are you guys and gals out shopping or just plain busy with family, work and home things right now. Just be sure to take time for yourselves to stay healthy mentally and physically. Well, I am about ready to crash after a little bit of net surfing. Just have to remember to take the ole contacts out before hitting the hay. You do not know how many times I end up walking back downstairs and need to take them out and then go back to bed!  I barely know I am wearing them most of the time. Chris
