Pam, I really do not remember being swollen after my open RNY. I think that you probably did too much today with the snow. Take it easy for the next few days. The liquid Tylenol is really all you should have. Sorry, I do not have anything further to offer. I felt out of sorts for close to 8 weeks so it is just right around the corner and you should start to feel normal. Chris

Good Morning! The snow here must be less than in Chicago.  We might have gotten 4 inches.  When I got up at 4, it was not snowing any more and the roads weren't bad at all.  I just had to watch out for the overly cautious people driving 35 mph on a 65 mph highway. I am leaving work early today to take David to a Dr.'s appointment in Monroe, WI. and it's Todd's birthday, so I might take him out for lunch/dinner afterwards.  The kids are home from school, so we will all go.  Maybe stop at Brennan's while we are up there.  Brennan's is a specialty store that has lots of different fruits and vegetables in additions to wine, beers and cheeses.  Whenever we are up there, the kids and I pick 1 fruit to eat on the way home, usually something we have not tried before. Has anyone heard how work is going for Lucy?  What about Janet K's husband? Christina, glad to hear that you are healing well and have good news on your sister. I'm sure I am forgetting someone, please forgive me! I hope everyone stays warm and dry.

Tell someone that you love them!

We even got more snow after I wrote the roll call this morning. It is really pretty. The road around here are bone dry and clear. My village has a fantastic crew and the state does a pretty good job also. Supposed to get more snow tomorrow night, yuch just as we are to have our support group tomorrow night. I hate to drive in the snow or be a passenger as I will be.  Chris

Hi Zandra......Glad your not lurking anymore since you are going in to get your lapband........We are all here to support you any way we can.    You had asked if anyone else was having wls on the same day as you?   Did you get any answers?   If not go to the side of this screen and look up upcoming surgeries, then it will show you who is having it. You have a good day and come back and post again! Pam

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
