MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!
I'm from Chgo, but have to look elsewhere for a DS, and I'm left wondering that should my DS be terminated due to a complication, will Medicare refuse payment and leave the cost to me to pay.

Facility Center University of Chicago Hospital - Surgical Treatment of Obesity
Address Center for Advanced Medicine 5758 S. Maryland Avenue Chicago, IL 60637 Website http://www.uchospitals.edu/physicians/vivek-prachand.html I just got my date about 2 weeks ago and just came back from signing all the consent forms and last minutes things in Chicago--300 mile trip from Mascoutah, IL near Scott Air Force Base. I don't think I would care how far I'd have to travel as long as they accepted my insurance (Medicaid at the current moment.) The staff there is helpful and is willing to answer ANY AND ALL questions that you may have. I had a few bumps on the way but everything is looking really good for my surgery on the 6th of June. I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or jump for joy...that's what nerves'll get ya. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me here or at [email protected]. Remember, we are all here with a common goal in mind and we should support one another through this life-changing experience! GOOD LUCK ALL!
