Good Morning IL - How is everyone doing today?  Lucy, I see you are lurking here and there.  I hope your taking it eazy ladybug.   Has anyone heard from xray chick?  What about truckerron?   I have a very full schedule today..  which is probably for the best.  My mind is running rampid with fear for my sister.  I know I have to trust in my higher power that all will be ok but it's just scary stuff and quite frankly, sucks.  For those that may have missed my post yesterday evening, my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday and will be going in on Monday for a mastectomy.  She was actually probably either in disbeleif or in shock yesterday because she was handling it better then I was.  She was more concerned about how to tell her sons the news.  Please keep her in your prayers as she faces this challenge.  Unfortunately, it takes things like this to remind myself that life is so precious and we need to live in today and not take things for granted. What else is going on with everyone?  The scale finally after weeks of no movement decided to be kind to me.  As of today, I've lost 200lbs.  Now I need to lose those five lbs to get under 200.  It is getting harder and harder to get off those last 30lbs!  But I will do it one day at a time. Good Morning Christina and Lucy, I have the worst sinus infection !  I am so sorry to hear about your sister.  I will keep her and the whole family in my thoughts and prayers.  I am going to the doctor today to have him give me something for my infection and also for the stupid 6 month diet thing.  Sorry I haven't posted in a while....there is alot of crap I'm going through right now.  I just take one day at a time and take several deep breathes!!!!  I hope everyone has a good day! and stay warm. Hi Kim - Sorry you're not feeling well.  Glad your going to the doc so you can nip it.  It stinks being sick.  Hang in there with the other stuff going on in your life.. I know it's not easy but just take it one day at a time. If you need to vent, scream, cry.. I'm here. Hugs, Christina

Good Morning Christina and the rest of Illinois! CONGRATULATIONS Christina!!!!  What an AWESOME accomplishment!  I am glad to hear that your scale moved again, because I have just about lost hope that mine will EVER move again.  You are doing fantastic!  Keep up the great work! I am keeping your family in my thoughts. After work today, I am going into Freeport to pick up a couple more championship shirts for friends and family that have requested them. Besides that, nothing much going on here.  I dropped my rings off last night and they will be ready next Wednesday!  I was shocked to find out that I now wear a 4 1/2 on my wedding finger! Come on out all you lurkers and tell us what's going on in your corner of the world!!!!

Hi Dawn - That scale can be our enemy!  It has been very stubborn so I can relate to what your going thru.  Don't give up, you can get to goal. 

My rings are way too big too.  I actually just ordered a new ring from QVC.. shhhhhh don't tell Calvin.  It's a little gift to me from me cause I love myself.  I ordered a size six and I"m just not sure.  They did not have 1/2 sizes or I would have ordered the 5 1/2.  We shal see.  It should be here hopefully next week when I'm hope recovering.

Hi Christina and IL friends, Your sister (and you) are in my prayers today.    WOW! 200lbs lost, you go girl ! I'm off to the chiropractor for some torture, but I wanted to drop in and say hello to y'all. My niece (who happens to be my age) is in town from Florida (why would anyone leave 70F weather to come here!!!!)....hopefully we will be able to get together for lunch or something.  She is a busy gal trying to visit everyone, and my schedule is so weird that we haven't hooked up yet. HOWEVER......I'm hoping to be off work Friday night.....if the bosses can accomodate that...and we are going to see the Afrodesiacs(sp) band play in Palatine!!   Anyone who has seen these guys know they put on a great show.   Ok...so that is my life in a nutshell....at least for today.   Hope everyone have a good day! hugs, Paula

Hi Paula! Thank you for the prayers..  I wish I coould do the walk w/ you.  It sounds like a blast.  I will be having foot surgery on Friday so I will be out of commission for a little while.  Perhaps come spring I'll be ready to go!

Hope you get to meet up w/ you niece while she is in town.

Christina you are an inspiratiion - 200lbs gone forever and I just want to loose another 15-20 pounds.  That doesn't sound like that much after your achievenment. I've been feeling sorry for myself today....not a good thing.  I had 4 job possiblities in the pipeline and am now down to just 2.  Knocked myself out last week with 3 interviews before the holiday and I've gotten the thumbsdown from 2 already. I am starting to get so discouraged.  I know there is a lot of "ageism" at work here but nothing I can prove.  I am just so sick and tired of all this.  And even more sick and tired of feeling stressed out and frustrated. I am so in need of a good party!  Anyone know of one I can go to this weekend? Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
