at a loss
I don't know how many of you know my story, but in a nutshell.... i went in for surgery on the 6th of june and the doctors had to abort because my liver was sooooooo massive they could not even see my stomach.... now this many months later and on a high protein diet my liver has not shrank a centimeter, the doctors want to do another CT scan in January and i just can't find the motivation to continue this diet..... ANY words of wisdom and encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. You only have another six weeks before another cat scan.. you can do it! Do it for your liver and your life. After surgery your going to be doing a high protein diet so you might as well get used to it. Of course you can have other foods but the focus is on protein.
Hang in there and I'll say a prayer for you.

I, too am sorry to hear that you are going through this in order to have your WLS. You're almost there. Don't give up. It's so worth it. It's only 6 more weeks. You can do this. You're doing it for you, your health, your life. You could be at a turning point, and if you give up now, can go back to the beginning. Ask yourself the question, is my life worth it? Of course it is! You've got it in you, you've proven it, so keep on plugging away. Hugs, Lucy
I'm so sorry to hear about your liver problems.
Here's some motivation for ya...
Take a look at those cute little kids you have and think about what they'll do if you're not around to take care of them. That should be some pretty powerful motivation. They need you.
Hang in there. Six more weeks will fly by...especially with the holidays coming up.

Thank you ! I agree with you my babies are the only thing that really keep me going! They are the reason i even began to pursue surgery. I want to be healthy so that i can be a good and dedicated mom that can go to all of their future activities and really just be able to sit on the floor and play with them..... It made me so sad today when my little goofball of a daughter said "mommy i can play with you in your bed if it hurts to get up", she's only 3 and she already knows that my body is in pain. so thank you again for your encouragement, i will go on!
