Good Morning IL, It is a cold and chilly Sunday morning in Chicagoland.  What does everyone have planned for today?  I hope to get out and do some shopping and avoid the crowds, as if that is possible at this time of the year,lol Good news about Lucy, she is home and starting her recovery. Good Morning Mary. I too will be heading out for at least one big box stores today. Not sure what time, since I am waiting for my DD to pick up DGD , Plus she will be driving. I am also planning a mini turkey dinner for later. We spent Thanksgiving at our DD's house. and I want some leftovers.  I may even geta couple of rooms picked up and dusted. DH works until 2 today, so I have time to do what is needed and get ready for the work week.  I am so glad we finally heard from Lucy last night. Christine and Dave should be driving home from the Dells today. I hope they have a good and safe trip back.  Hope everyone has a good week.  Lisa

Good morning Mary and Lisa. My vision is still somewhat of a challenge. I'll keep my message brief. I had some nausea yesterday so it was a challenge to take my pain meds and drink fluids. I am happy to say that has resolved. My face and neck is very swollen. Doing the ice pak thingie but it's hard to keep them on my face. I had a protein drink this morning and tolerated it. For breakfast I'm going to have some cottage cheese and a soft boiled egg. Willow has been fantastic. She is sleeping right now. I'm trying to be quiet so she can get some much needed rest. The trip on the way home was awful as there was so much traffic on the tollroad. I couldn't believe it. It took us over an hour to get home. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and thoughts. Good Morning Mary & IL - Where does the time go??  Back to work tomorrow which really stinks.  I did not get done nearly as much as I had planned.  I guess today will be another full day of trying to get Christmas up and everything in order. The tile man will be by in about one hour.  Seems as if I ordered double the tile I needed  Oh well.. watcha gonna do?  I've got to get busy.  Hope everyone has a great day! Christina

Hello...  Good Sunday Morning Mary and my Illinois friends...  Yesterday we put up our Christmas Tree and decorations!  What fun the kids had a blast! I had my first migraine since surgery  and I didn't know what to do about it  so when it was getting worse and not better I went to the ER they gave me some IV pain meds and fluids and a RX for some viocidin Elixur. I am not sure when I can swallow pills and pre-op I took excedren which I know we can no longer take... Anyways I am feeling much better today!  I see the Dr. on 12-17-07 I need to make a list of questions so I don't forget when I am there... Today we are going to church and after headed to Hometown, Illinois to visit with my dad and his side of the family my 81 year old Grandma is visiting from Tennessee I am SO excited to see her!  I love my Grandma! Well today I'm just chilling. I went to my ppc yesterday because I thought I might have a bladder infection. He did the little strip test and said nope. He wants to do exrays tomorrow to see if I have a dic out. I can not move very good, I believe I may have hurt it on the mini bus I drive because I have to kinda slid out of it since I'm so short. Its a long way to the ground.  My dr was going to give me pain meds, I then told him or reminded him about the band and then he was scratching his head as to what to prescribe. He gave me the liquid ty/codine and it dosn't take the pain away. Plus I have to eat to take it or I double up in stomach pain.  So I have gained some weight in the last 2 weeks about 10 pounds. I believe its water because my ring feels so tight. I weigh about 6 pounds more then when I seen DR R in August.  Yep I was in pain on Friday when I went and shopped and I believe it made it more sore. So I'm chilling to get better.  Karen

Good Morning IL!!  It looks to be a nice but chilly day out today.  I am finally feeling like I have slept enough to make up for the lack of sleep on Friday night.   Today we are heading out to Des Plaines for a birthday party for my 2 great nephews.  Dylan will be 9 and Elliot will be 2.  I love those little guys and I also get to see their little sister who is only 5 months old.  I will be sure to bring my camera too.   That will be pretty much an all day thing.  My boys come home from their dad's tonight and it's back to work tomorrow.  yuck! I'm glad to hear that Lucy is home and on her way to recovery! Everyone have a great Sunday!

We be home, safe and sound. I have all the junk put away that we took with and all the stuff that we bought and all the suit cases and other travel stuff stored in the attic. I am just about ready to go down and put in another load of wash and have two more small ones to go. I am getting some computer surfing done also during that time. Back to work for me tomorrow, yuck. So glad that you made it home safe and sound.  You are like me, once you get home, things need to be put away and laundry done right away.
