Good morning Pam and IL, I am doing better today, Yesterday I thought that I would make a hard boiled egg and little mayo and have that for lunch, it went down ok, but about 1/2 hr later it gave me the runs  bad, I guess I will not eat that again for some time, I get to see my Dr. today first visit since surgery, can't wait to see how much I have lost, hope everyone is having a good day, the sun is out and bright,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Hello Ladies!!!  I'm headed back to work tonight, but gonna enjoy every minute I can of this beautiful day!!!  We're headed out to the woods for a walk with the puppies, then I guess I should get some housework and errands done. I'm having the worst back spasms today!! What a creepy feeling...I hope it settles down before I have to sit for 8hrs at work.  I decided to set my watch for every 45mins and then I am just going to have to get up and stretch and let someone else take over the radio for a few mins.  Otherwise by the end of my shift, my back is killing me. I hope everyone is having a great day!!  If at all possible, get out there and enjoy the sunshine...this is a bonus day!!! take care, Paula

How did you fair with the long drive, what did the scale say, when do you advance to the next stage of eating? I remember where you are at right now vividly!  Oh, the broth tasted so, so good, then when I got to have a tiny, tiny bit of pureed meat etc it was wonderful!  I have been doing lots and lots of stuff around the house. It feels so good to get rid of JUNK from everywhere around me. Being married for 33+ years is fantastic but a couple accumulates so much junk over that time period! We have been pack rats on an off. Sometimes we toss everything and then there are times that we hoard EVERYTHING. We did end up putting a lot of junk on the curb for the garbage guy but it was sad in a way. Well, the junkers got the metal stuff that we knew was going to happen because they recycle it but we had a really trashy couch that was a hand me down that someone took, cushions and all. So we knew that someone took it to use. Junkers would have left the cushions. There was an old plywood type dresser that was gone also, still useful but really it was junk. I guess my little starter type of a home looks like a palatial palace to many, it really humbles me when I start to think of it all.  Need to go up and start putting my clothes out for my week away at Thanksgiving. I always lament over what to take and wear. I so love to wear the stuff I have now after loosing weight. Part of it is because I wear a uniform everyday and the other part is that it is just plain ole fun! Another part of me forgets that if I forget something say essential to wear - there still are stores in the Dells to buy things! Kohls and the outlet mall here I come!!!!!  Gotta go - in Him, Christine

Oh Man, I can relate to shopping!!!! I love Kohls and the Dells. I only wish I wasnt 1500 miles away from the Dells. Well for Kohls it is only about 30 miles away!!!!! I was working today and it was slow. I hope the snowbirds come soon!!!!! I think they all left for the north for Thanksgiving. I bet the airport is busy though. Wel I am so tired and I am going to go and lay down for a while. Carla
