Monday Roll Call

Wake up sleepy heads!  Okay I shouldn't talk, I'd probably still be if I could.  I got up regular time, got all ready for work, was eating my peanut butter toast and the phone rings.  Of course my heart skips a beat because I worry when the phone rings that early...it's my boss!  I dont' have to work today because of Veteran's Day!  He couldn't have told me this yesterday?  LOL  OH well.  Tyler is going to the Dr today for that lump we found, I will do more homework and I am also taking Phantom to the pet store for a birthday treat. He's 1 today! What's everyone else doing today??

Well Monica.....Great minds think alike!     I deleted my post since you had it going on!    just couldn't delete the title! I hope everything turns out ok for your son and his lump. I think it is so nice out today!    I wi**** sould be a little more sunny. Pam      

Hey Pam, the sun is out here and Jacob and I just got back from a walk with all 3 dogs...that was a workout!  LOL  I am actually sweating...good for me!!  yay The Dr called this morning and asked to see Jacob this afternoon too, he's got high cholesterol (already at 11) and had another test on Saturday.  They have the results and want to talk to us. Keep him in your prayers that the numbers came down.  I hope that you have a great day Pam!

Good morning Monica. I hope the lump in Tyler is not serious.

I am at work, no holiday for me. I am trying to work through a cold I got on Friday evening. It's my first cold since WLS. Thank goodness I wasn't scheduled for plastic surgery on Saturday. I would have had to cancel it.

I can't wait to get these implants out of me! I've been so depressed over them and getting into my bad eating habits again. Now I am trying so hard to get a hold of myself. Carbs are evil, evil I say! It's so hard to get back on track when you are sick. Today I am giving it my all. Take care! Hugs, Lucy

Lucy it won't be much longer now till those implants come out..........Don't try to do too much if you're still sick!   you have got to get healthy for your next surgery!   And thank God it wasn't last week.....you would have really been depressed to cancel due to a cold!    See everything works out for the best!     You will get on top of this bad eating habit.......you are one tough lady,   you know what you have to do!   You have come soooo far!   You are so beautiful.....so relax and see what all of us see!!     HUGS Pam

Thanks for your message Pam. I've been down in the dumps for so long. I've been hiding it but now it shows. I know that I've come so far and will never be the person I used to be. NEVER I say! Dear Lucy: I am SOOOO sorry to hear about the cold.  My daughter is coming down with one and I banished her to the other end of the couch last night!!!  The good news is that this is the 1st since your bypass?  Wow, you have been pretty lucky!  I get 1-2 a year, and since NyQuill is now out, I avoid them as much as possible.  I DO hope you fell better soon. I am also sorry to hear that you are feeling down.  Planning the party and having the party are sure to cheer you up.  I'm sure Pam will be there to get naughty with you!  I will be PMing you for your address, and hope that I can stop out for a short time. Please feel better all over!

Hi Dawn. Thanks for the  message. I'm fighting with myself - my brain is telling me one thing and my stomach is telling another thing. I am feeling so lousy at work. I am not doing much. Drinking a cup of tea now. I wish someone could take me and put me in a locked room with only water and hot liquids for the next week and a half. I sure do need a party. Thanks! Lucy

Hi Lucy!  big (((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))  to you!  I hope that you start to feel better soon.  I hate colds.  I seem to get them 1-2 times a year and boy they are bad when I do.   Your surgery is coming up to get rid of those implants and everything will be fine.  I'm sorry you are depressed about it, but please don't keep it in, come here and vent.  We all love you and are here for you!
