Update on the Saga with Ins. Co.

Well,  here is an update from this morning's roll call post. I went an saw a dr. this morning to write the Rx for the tests that I needed to comply with the request from the insurance company.  I made sure that I stepped on the scale and they documented the weight.  I stopped smoking back in March, but there are times where I just had to have one, and then I would end up smoking all over again for a couple of days then stop.  This dr. was kind enough to provide me with Chantix...  So, I went and got my EKG and it is normal.  I then walked over to the Nutrition office, and noone was around, so I went up to the lab where the friendly vampires took 7 tubes of the red stuff.  I swear the almost bled me dry .  The results will be back by next Friday.  I then made a quick stop on the 4th floor to see if I could pick up some new inserts for my sons shoes (he has the flatest feet I have ever seen). Then I went up to the 9th floor to schedule an appointment with my psyc for Dec. but they did not have her schedule up yet.  Then it was back to the first floor to the Nutrition office to see if they could fit me in for a consult.  Unfortunately, that was not the case so I have an appointment on 11/21.  The Navy Hospital no longer has pulmonary available and I would have to be referred out, so I made a call to the one the surgeon's office uses and the earliest I can get in is 11/29.  I picked up my prescriptions and off to work I went.  I am now at home and trying to get homework done, two loads of laundry done.  My son has two friends over for the night, so pizza was for dinner.   Can someone tell the world to stop I want to get off and rest for a moment.

Thanks for the update. Hey by the way I have some Calgon I can let you use. It sure does smell pruddy and turns the water a pruddy blue. Many times it seems when you need to jump through hoops but it all turns out well in the end. I think it is God telling us He wants us to make absolutely sure that all our ducks are in a row. For me it is usually a teaching moment(s) and it draws me closer to Him. Chris
