Tuesday Roll Call

ABMC. The interview went well but now there is a snag in regards to the pre-surgical testing.  According to Bessie, they detected an anomaly in my EKG and now it looks like I have to try and shoehorn in an appointment in with my primary physician.     My PP is waiting on the fax from Kane's office now...  Just my luck too, because she doesn't see anyone (or have staff in to make appts) on Wednesdays. 

Hey George, Who did you see for your cardio clearance? that is who you should have look at the EKG. Mine showed something too. but since I had open heart surgery in April, I took it to my cardioloigist, he assured me that there was really nothing new that he didn't already know about, and gave the ok for surgery. Saturday I was sitting with Marilyn in row 2, on the same side as you. I could hear you, but couldn't see you.  Hope you get the job you're after.  Lisa

I never went for a cardio clearance - I had a cardi stress test in April '06 that they used with the insurance submission.  I have pulled it and will bring it to my PCP on Thursday.  Hopefully, it will show the same minor arrythmia.

Good luck with the interview and congratulations on the "All-Clear" from your pre-ops. Sorry about the little glitch in your time frame, but it will all work out, things always do.

Good early afternoon to everyone. Yes it is brisk today. I opted out of riding my bike to work because of the wind. The cold does not bother me as much as long as I have something on my hands, but the wind is nasty today.

Been busy pecking away at the keyboard but am taking a short, short break. Dave and I are tackling the basement this week to get all the junk out of it. We are having our Christmas bash on Dec 8th and we have a couple years of junk down there. Anything we did not want to deal with we put down there. It is not a finished basement so it gets a little cluttered. It is just a storage place for oh say my bike during the winter and plastic storage containers etc. Got a lot of the decorations organized and vacuuming done last night. It will be ship shape by about Friday.

Need to get back cracking the whip and finish my work.

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Well, last night my son comes out to give me a kiss goodnight and informs me that it was snowing (oh joy).  My DH and DD worked last night, so my DS and I watched MythBusters.  I then had to finish my final for my class and get that turned in as it was the last day.  Today starts my Project Management class, so that means lots of reading to do. I am still waiting for an answer from the insurance company, as I am still in process. But, hopefully I should know something soon and as soon as I do, everyone will know. Work today is busy, as I am now working on the corporate budgets for 2008, closing the month of October, and gearing up for the fiscal year end.   I hope Marilyn and Jane are doing well, and I have Meny in my thoughts.  Hi! George congratulations on getting your date.  I was so hoping to have my surgery this month, but it looks like maybe December now. Have a good day all.

Good afternoon everyone! I am busy, busy, busy working today.  I DID manage to sneak in my year update on my profile and change my avatar over lunch though. After work, I am stopping at the store for a couple of things then home to make dinner for my family.  Not much else going on with me today. I am HATING the cold!!!!!  I don't know WHAT I am going to do when it gets REALLY cold.  I am FREEZING!!!!  I envy someone whose office is "like an oven"!  I have 2 pairs of socks, long johns, and 4 layers on top including a sweater and sweatshirt.  I am still cold!  My lovely boss says that I can't have an under desk heater, but I may have to get one without his consent.  I really don't know what else to do.    I am glad to hear that Marilyn and Janet are resting comfortably (when they are not walking.....) and looking forward to moving on down the bench for Mendy and George soon. I hope everyone has a lovely evening and manages to stay warm!

Here is an idea, get a heating pad for your chair.  or some of those hand and feet warmes that hunter use.
