make sure you are walking your legs will swell up sometimes if you have a clot! best thing to do is stand up and walk at least 5-10 mins every waking hour! Welcome home to the losers bench!!! dee

welcome home. I think that the swollen legs are probably from the IV fluids. Mine were like that also, so swollen that the skin was tight and shiney. It eventually went away. If you are concerned of course call your doctor, that is what he is there for. Chris

Welcome home!  I know from experience that swelling of my legs was something I get after surgery. It's from all the IV's. Of course, if it really is disturbing to you, I would contact my doc to make sure. It is better to caution on the safe side. Remember to get lots of rest and do get up and walk as much as possible. It will get better with each brand new day! Welcome to the loser's bench! Hugs, Lucy  Wakka Wakka

Welcome home sweetie..  Yes, each day will get better.  Just take things one day at a time.  Listen to your body and don't do too much.

Hugs, Christina

Hi Sandra, glad you are home, and thank you so much for calling me in the Hospital, that was so very nice of you , My leggs and whole body is swollen too, it has to be from the IVs the fill us up with. I don't want to eat either but we must and remember to get you water and protien in as much as you can.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
