Hi everyone! I've had a pretty difficult last few days.  But I am feeling doing good ... not just looking good like everyone says :)  I am eating now and sipping my water.  I am able to eat the applesauce, a dannon lite yogurts.  But pudding is way to sweet and the soup was way to salty.  So I was hoping for some help.  How do you make the cream of ... soups, or bean soups eatable?  Um... and is milk just considered to be like a "water"?  something you just sip, sip once a day or less or is it considered a  meal?  Oh well....  thank you in advance for your help. Gina :)

Gina, I do not have any suggestions on the soups off the top of my head at the moment other then Medifast soups. I find them to be pretty bland. www.medifast.com my doctor's office has them included in their healthy living portion of their program for the patients that need the doctor supervised diet before approval. The soups are high in protein. As far as your taste buds, what you are going through right now is normal. I still to this day find a lot of the commercial foods as either too salty or sweet. I even find Splenda too sweet. You will need to get in contact with your doc's office and see what they want you to consume and how much. On the liquid portion I was able to have my water and liquid meals together all day long. It was not until I went on pureed foods that I had to wait 30/30.  Christine
