Needing Support

I found a lump in my breast last night, and I am so upset.  My mother-in-law died from breast cancer, and DH is upset.  I am trying to think good thoughts until we find out what it is. ChristinaP, thanks for the e-mail the other day Kim, thanks for the message, and yes, I did read it

If you read this, please know that we care and will help you thru whatever you're going thru.  This is a wonderful place to come for support. A spot was found on a routine mammogram 1 1/2 years ago.  Breast Cancer runs rampid on my mothers side of the family.  I freaked.  The kind people of OH told me to breath, be calm, wait for the results.  They monitored the spot checking every 6mo and I am glad to say last month they told me the spot was gone.  I will continue to have more frequent checks because of my family history but all is good.  Hang in there. Think positive thoughts-they found a nodule in my lungs a few years ago and I had to go for CT's every 3 months for 2 yrs.  By the the time the last one was done they couldn't even see where it had been!  I will say lots of prayers for a good out come-you need a break darlin'-Big Hugs-Janet K
