Michelle just called me from the Kane Center, They are having a problem for precertification for tomorrows surgery. I was approved for Alexian Bros, not for St Alexis according to my Insurance. I asked the Kane Center 4 weeks ago to make sure on the pre cert. If I can't get it this week, then it can't be until December, There is no way I can be off for anything in November, its our busiest month. So, now I am getting depressed. Lisa

Wow. Not to fuel the fire, but how the hell did they not catch that before now? That is absolutely ridiculous, hopefully since they are sister hospitals, they can work something about. Good luck.

Dear Lisa: Hang in there.....hopefully, this is just the first bump in the road. They should be able to get it straightened out, but I understand your feelings. Please try not to worry.........(I know that is easier said than done.....)

Thanks for the encouragement Dawn and you also Kristian. Hopefully nothing else will come up. I know what happened, they didn't read what the insurance sent them. It had to be a center of excellence, and St. Alexius isn't. Hopefully there won't be any other problems arise. Lisa
