Happy happy joy joy !!

Well they called and said my insurance has been approved !! WOO HOO

I do have a question though.. I made an appt for a mandatory seminar to go to this weekend.

I made an appt for an ultrasound, and the MMPI and psychologist... November 6 and 8

Im waiting on a call back for the pulminologist appt.

Question... HOW MUCH LONGER DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE BEFORE SURGERY once all of this is done??

Any ideas on what time frame im looking at??? Thanksgiving? Xmas? New years?

Thanks for all the emails also, i appreciate tham all.

Yeah for you too!  Seems like a lot of people are getting approved........I would say....and this is only a guess  they'll get you in within a month!    Almost for sure before the end of the year! Pam

Forgot one question... How long should I expect to be off of work ??? I was hoping to get about two weeks to recover and not have to go back to the stress of work and all that... I want to do this right. I have plenty of time saved up for this also. Thanks again for your answers everyone. Kev

Congratulations Kev! You should be a "loser" before the end of the year (easy) barring any problems with the appointments. I could not tell what surgery you are having, but I had Lap RNY and was off of work for the first week and did 1/2 days the second week.  I work in an office at a desk.  It depends on what you do for work, but two weeks is entirely reasonable, more if your job involves physical labor or lifting.

Tell someone that you love them!

CONGRATS on your approval. From my observations by the time everything is done within a month til surgery. Of course it depends on your doc and how busy he is ect.

Congrats! During my process, the longest waits were for the cardiologist and then for the pulmonologist. From the day of my approval to the date of my surgery is one month and one week. That should give you a time frame, but I did not have any set backs with the pulmonologist.

Congrats on you approval, I got mine today too,  we are headed for the lossing side of things

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
