Good morning Illinois!  How is everyone today?  Yesterday in my area, it was warm, and today, I am freezing, who turned the heat off?  I have nothing special planned, going to Michael's to pick up some thread for a piece I am cross stitching, and calling my foot doctor, I can't take the pain anymore.  It hurts to walk, and I love to walk. I am sitting here drinking some nice hot cinnabon coffee that I bought at walmart.  Yummmmmmmmmmm, We have several surgeries this week, please keep them all in your prayers and thoughts. Dee

Good morning Dee. I'm the opposite, I thought it was warmer this morning.

Well, I did a lot of shopping at Gurnee yesterday with my aunt. I'm taking some of my purchases back today. I decided that I didn't need all the stuff I bought. Oh well. I sure got a lot of exercise in yesterday. We were at the mall for over 5 hours and didn't sit down at all. We were going to stop for coffee at Starbucks but the line was so long, we decided to come home and make our own coffee!

So here I am at work and sipping my hazelnut coffee. Yummy! Wishing you and everyone a wonderful day and God bless our friends here who will be having their surgeries this week!

Hugs, Lucy

I always buy more than I need, especially since I am still changing sizes, then I also think after my TT, I won't be able to wear them.  I did the same thing, I bet there was about 40 people in line at Starbucks yesterday, and it was warm here..lol

Good Morning Everyone - I'm sitting here at work sipping on my Starbucks.  Oh how I love my coffee.  I was able to get a few things done yesterday afternoon at home and now I'm anxious to get my floor replaced in the kitchen.  Of course we have not decided what we want, hardwoods or ceramic tile.  Leaning more toward the hardwoods.  I'm on the hunt for a good but reasonable contractor if anyone knows of one.  I have one guy that's supposed to come out and give us an estimate on several small projects but I would like to get a couple estimates. Not much else going on, just working both jobs today.  Hope everyone has a great Monday!  Best Wishes to all that are having surgeries this week.  Cindy, I'm thinking about you.  Hope you're home and doing well. Christina

Christina, You and Calvin should consider doing the floor your self!!  Ryan and I did our old houses' living room, foyer, hallway and bathroom.  We got prefinished hardwood at Lumber Liquidators in elk grove village or it was Mt.prospect.  It was VERY cheap to do our self!  If you want help I would not mind helping you!  We have ceramic tile now and I miss the look of hardwood!  Good luck!

Well me dear.. I'm the handy one around the house.  Calvin is great in the kitchen but he can't screw in a lightbulb.  Of course, I don't mind saying that because he tells everyone I can't boil water!  LOL  He has plenty of other great qualities but handy is not one of them.  I owned a 90year old victorian home for 10 years before I met Calvin so I learned to be quite handy because I had to do it myself.  I just don't know if I can take on such a big project myself.  I'll have to think about it some more.

HAHA, Dave says that I burn water! I have flooring installers in the family if you are interested. They are not cheap, but they are good. Even I was charged full price. Have you considered a wood laminate? They come in some great colors. We have it in our kitchen and hallway if you remember from when you were there in May. It is not glued but a floating floor. Something like a hardwood or laminate floor especially if it is a big project probably needs a professional because they have all the tools to cut the wood and install. You would probably need to rent the saw to cut the boards, plus the wood needs to go under the appliances. Chris

Good Morning Ladies! Wow!  I walked Maddie to the bus stop and I was suprised how warm it is out!!  I'm going to try to mow the lawn before it rains later.  I had a very relaxing weekend.  The shopping trip to Gurnee sounded fun.  I love to shop and find good deals!  I am queen of good deals!  My whole house is decorated in clearance stuff and you would never know it!  These days I would rather buy stuff for the house, because I am so depressed about my weight that buying clothes just depresses me more!  This weekend I watched this show about debt, and the number one thing the guy said is NOT to cash out your 401k!  What should I do? I really want the surgery and am getting very antsy!  I'm going to call the lawyers office today and talk to them about details and find out more info about timelines ect.  I hope everyone has a safe a good day!  I am going to clean the house and scrapbook today, then get ready for a 2:30 PTO meeting!

Good morning everyone.   Well I came through surgery just great!  I went in on Thursday, and was released on sat.  I am still very sore and tired, so I can't stay on long.  I have a glass of milk with a multivitamin callin' my name, then a nap!  I just wanted to let everyone know I am doing well, and will write more later.  Take care! Cindy
