Good Morning IL - I had a great time yesterday at the craft fair.  Holy, Moly it was huge!  Big enough that my girlfriend and I are talking about getting a hotel and doing it both sat & sun next year.  Too much to see in one day.  I did not see Kim but was not surprised, I'm telling you, I've never seen so many people at a craft fair. Of course I'm paying for it today because I'm already up and heading into work..  It's 5:30a. No other plans for the day, just work.  What's everyone else doing? Hope you have a great Sunday! Good Morning Christina and the rest of the Illinois Board. Not sure what I am doing up at 6:30 on a Sunday morning. Heck, the street lights are still on and not a sign of light. Dh is already at work, and I have washed my hair and such. The on;y thing I have going today is laundry. I know other things will come up, they always do, but just the idea of doing nothing is great.  Christina, what do you do at your day job? Lisa

Good morning there young lady. You are up early as me. I am just about to swing into action and get ready for going down to our church's Loop location and then we will walk over to the Art Institute, spend the day downtown and take the train home.  Yesterday I was at Dr Rosen's presurgical seminar and spoke. Afterwards I was really close by so I hopped on over to see Janet Kwiek, her Mittens- the puppy dog and I got to meet Eddie. We gassed for a short while and got to see "the crater" then I was back on the road for other errands that I had planned, those got done and I went on home. I joined the MP3 player generation yesterday as I finally bought myself a small Sony Walkman. It also has an FM tuner in it. The radio comes in great in the house, we will see how it does in a brick and mortar building. But, I mainly got it for walking/running or working out in our exercise room at work to listen to albums. I can also tune the FM in on the treadmills at the fitness center for watching the TVs by the treadmills, stair climbers and elipticals. Well, need to get moving to make myself some breakfast, which will be left over pizza from Friday night and then get on out the door. Smooches   & hugs also Chris

Good morning Christina, Christine and Lisa. Today I'm off to Gurnee Mills with my aunt who is visiting from Austria. I love to shop and so does she. We'll make a stop at Starbucks for coffee. I will be picking up my boxed winter clothes from my Mom's afterwards. I hate this transitional period between summer and winter. Already did my exercise for today. YAY!!  I always feel good afterwards. It's less than 4 weeks until my plastic surgery. The time will fly. I can't believe it. We'll have to start planning for our December 1st party soon. I'll start giving it some thought. Christina, too bad you're working today.  You could have taken some time for sleeping in this morning . Christine, you are always on the go woman! Hi Lucy - Calvin had his second part of the sleep study last night so he was gone and I was in bed early and slept right smack in the middle of the bed.  Rising early was no problem this morning.  Have fun shopping with your aunt.  BTW, I'm getting excited about the party.  I'm already on the hunt for the perfect holiday outfit.

Hello Christina and IL~ Yes I was at the craft fair yesterday and it was sooooooo busy!  I went on a sunday last year and it was not as crowded.  I didn't buy to much...just Maddie some doll clothes for her american dolls. I guess I wasn't in the buying mood yesterday!   we have a great hotel in belvidere/poplar grove that you can stay in next year for the craft show.  Its called HOTEL KIM.  It's very clean and you will have clean sheets and your own bathroom w/ a whirlpool tub.  Hot healthy meals and a shuttle car that will take you to the largest craft fair in IL.  All for the very low price of FREE!!!!!  Did I mention that it's not even a 4min drive to the event!!!!!  Book now!!!  Beds fill up quick!!! Please consider that option for next year Christina!!!  I would love to have you and your friend stay!!!  Today we are going to my parents house to celebrate my sister and dads birthday!  They have the birthdays..Oct 12!  And we are going to watch football also.  Ryan is very close to winning 1,000 dollars in a pool at work!!!  Hope everyone is having a good day!   If you go out, you may need the umbrella.

 

Thanks for the offer Kim sounds very warm and inviting... I was really impressed with the fair and look forward to it next year.  So glad we chose yesterday to go instead of today.  Crummy weather out there today.
