Don't pick up the shots until after you get discharged!!! They were telling me that the dosage may change and some insurance companies won't cover both prescriptions (and it costs several hundred dollars).

Big Congrats Marilyn-that is just super news.   As for the shots just call your pharmacy and tell them what you need and they will be able to tell you if they are covered-mine were.  They are VERY important as you don't want blood clots to form in your legs-they are very dangerous and could cause a pulmonary embolism that is potentially fatal!  Beg, borrow or steal but get them!  You too Kristen!  I really hope you two will be together-that would be super!  Hugs to you both-Janet K

Did you already drop the prescription off? Call the pharmacy and ask them if they filled it yet...if not, maybe they can just stop the order and give you back the original script. If not, call Dr. Hart's office and ask them why they would tell one patient that information and not another.

What great news Marilyn!!  I am so excited for you and everyone else having surgery this month.  I can't wait til it's my turn....1/2 way there!  woohoo!!
