Thursday Roll Call

Everyone must be busy this morning including myself. Sorry, I have to be real fast and post this. Anything special going on with our board members? Not much for me, just have work up to the eyeballs. At 3 I will go directly to the fitness center and walk/run on the track. After that I need to pull some supplies off of the shelves in the basement because we are having the laundry tub replaced on Friday and I want an area that is free of clutter for the plumbers. Our tub downstairs is hanging by the plumbing as the metal legs have rusted out so it needs to be replaced.

I am going to go to the library tonight to get a book or two to take on the trip as I always need something to read. Not too much else going on besides that......... Come on out and let us know what is going on in your little corner of the planet!

Hi DAwn and the Board,  Dawn if you send me your snail mail address to [email protected] Ill get you some pamphlets on ST Petersberg and the beaches there. I dont live to far from there. I live in Bradenton and that is about 20 miles from me.  Are you flying or driving? The beaches are just beautiful there. Prestine and white sand and blue water. The water temp now is about 79 to 80 as we are having a cold spell as they say on the weather. I dont see it though. I think of a cold spell as 30 degrees and snowing!!!!! I come from Chicago and Colorado!!!!! I worked today and the rest of the week. Saturday I have off and I am babysitting my 2 yr old cousin. I am excited about that. I also am getting a sofa and love seat tomorrow. I baught if from my cousin. as she is selling it and she got some new ones. She baught a townhouse and wanted new furnitre. So I baught her old stuff. I dont care if it is used. She took great care of it. It looks brand new. I am having trouble breathing, it seems I have a full fledged cold!!!!! I havent had one since my   surgery 5 and half years ago. I hope i doesnt go into something else as I dont have a doc down here. I cant find one that is taking new patients that have had gastric bypass. They dont want to deal with one that has had it done!!!!! So when my RX need refilling Ill have to go to Denver and see my doc. If I get sick Ill have to go and see a Doc in the Box!!!!! I hate that!!!!! Maybe Ill go and see one of the Gastric Bypass doc here in town and get a referral to a PCP he reccomends Ill see if that helps!!!!! Oh the termoils of moving!!!!! Carla 

Afternoon everyone - I've been having "issues" with my internet connection for the past two days.  I finally was able to get on to OH.  Not a lot going on, just another day for me.  I requested next Wed night off at the restauraunt.  I'm going to go to the "day of beauty" at Dr. Rosen's office.  I wanted to go to the one he had back in July but it was too much to cram in right before my vacation.  I stopped by Janet K's last night for quick visit before I went to my second job.  It's always good to see that sweet smile of hers.  Even when she is feeling down or crummy, you would never know it.

Alright.. Back to work I go.  I hope everyone is having a great day.  BTW, look at my ticker    Nothin like tooting the ole' horn. Christina

Thanks Karen!  You're doing great too!  I'm so glad I can share my journey with my OH Friends.  I'm guessing my journey would be very different without all of you.

I am going by Janet's on Saturday after I go to a pre surg seminar at LWB. I will report back on how she is doing then. I need to get something to eat before I eat my computer. Chris

Internet issues at work... How many carbs does a computer have?  I bet you can find something more tasty! 

I had my first appointment with Dr. Davies for my sleep study. He examined me and said that I had a very narrow airway and other symptoms of Sleep Apnea, so he scheduled a sleep test on October 22nd.  The next day I have an appointment with my surgeon's nurse to go over the procedure and start my liquid diet. Things are moving along, I'm coming out of the scared to death phase and starting to get excited! Mendy

I have a sick grandson home. Fever, cough and asthma problems. So that what I have been doing the last 2 days. I need to get out and shut down the pool, maybe this weekend!
