I get my Isopure at the Vitamin Shoppe.  Have done it online and at the store. I bought a basket of samples when I was a pre-op from Bariatric Eating.  I hated them all, what a waste that was.  Ended up sending them to a pal who liked the stuff. For me, if it's not chocolate, it's not worth eating Ask people you know to let you "sample" some of what they have.  Although, what you like now you maynot like after surgery. Don't know why but your taste may very well change.
Regards and hugs,

Gina, I for the most part get mine from a premix that I buy at Sam's Club called EAS Advant Edge. They are 110 cal and 17g of protein. We buy them by the case because both my husband and I drink them. You can get 4 paks of them at Osco to try the flavor. Sam's only sells chocolate. The Vitamin Shoppe has the EAS powder and other good powders. We also like something we get at GNC called MetRx. You can get this at other health food stores, it is just that GNC is about 3 miles from our house. It is a powder in a packet. We only use 1/2 of the pak per drink (8oz of skim milk) in the bullet. The full pak is too much to drink and too thick for the small bullet cup. There is 2/3 cup of powder per pak so we just empty all the paks into a large plastic tub and measure out what we need per drink. Medifast has some decent protein drinks and theirs are gender specific. The males have more protein and you also can get samples from Unjury. Try going to WholeFoods as they have individual packets of protein drinks also. Watch some of all of these drinks (from all stores) as they are high in calories especially after you use skim milk. Chris ps do not go overboard getting a large stock as your taste buds change. There will be some things that you just CANNOT tolerate PO.

Hi Gina! I have to agree with everyone about not stocking up too much before surgery....your tastes may change (mine did not).

You can order samples from the 2 sites that I have used:

www.vitalady.com  I have found her to be a bit less expensive than Bariatric Eating.

www.bariatriceating.com  She carries a biger variety of items. Wal-Mart has a pretty good one called "Body x Fortress" and I used that before surgery and for a while afterwards until I found my favorites by sampling.  Wal-Mart also carries the EAS brand, but I have never tried it. Right now, my favorites are IDS Multi-Pro Whey Isolate in Belgian Chocolate & Cappacino, I can get these in 5 pound tubs, so they are almost as inexpensive as the Wal-Mart ones.  I also like the IDS Cinnamon-Vanilla to add to things like oatmeal.  My favorite "cookies and cream" is made by Matrix (Vitalady does not carry this one.)  The Nectar brands are more like fruity Kool-Aid if you get tired of the milk-like products, but they are kind of pricey. I have also ordered from "Beth's Protein Boutique" but I could not get the link to work this morning, she may be out of business.

I hope this helps!

Tell someone that you love them!
