Well. first, as most of you are aware, I am a diabetic. That usually isn't a problem, but in August, I started getting weeping sores on my one lower leg. I went to my pcp, she gave me some pills, and it pretty much healed up.Then around labor day another bigger sore opened up. I though I could control it myself, but ended up going to see my pcp on Monday. She sent me to the specialist, and when I seen him today, he put a unisock on it, (a soft cast like stuff) and a boot.This is suppose to help heal it. So for the next week, I get to waddle like a duck, not take baths, since you can't get it wet, and wear different footware on each foot. Hopfully it works. Lisa

OH Lisa, I hope the uniboot works for you and that you heal quickly. Diabetes is such an insidious disease. I know, boy do I know. Please take good care and hopefully it won't interfere with your upcoming surgery. I will keep sending healing vibes your way.

Hi Lisa Love the Pic, I sure hope you leg heals fast, here is a to look over you .

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
