PCP- STILL HASN'T WROTE MY LETER!

I'm pi$$ed off! i went to my last pcp appointment on 9/12/07. I was told the letter would be done that evening or the next day. well i called the surgeon and...still no letter. so i called my pcp that friday and was told to leave a mesage he'll call me back. well that didn't happen. i called on monday and was told he's on vacation until the following monday9/24/07. i called that day he still wasn't back. I called tuesday and left a message,still no return call. I called an hour before closing and got the ansering service.I called today and left a message. i was also told that he will be going to jury duty tomorrow.she suggested i come in. sory i can't just stop what i'm doing and come there(i had a mandatory class for work). I called back and spoke with the nurse,she states"i think he's working on it".she says call him tomorow. DUH he has jury duty according to the other employee!this is the only thing i need now!!! just venting. not to mention they sent me a copy of my file and it is pure chicken scratch,no dictation at all. No details of the diet.I have a great form from a fellow oh member so i will now fill them out and have the pcp sign them,i guess he'll write the letter then too.GOSH DARN

I don't have any advise, just wanted to let you know that I completely understand. What is important to us is not always important to the doctors.  My first doctor did the same thing.....took his sweet time and I thought I would jump out of my skin wating.  That turned out to be just the beginning of my waiting.

Hopefully, today is a better day!
