Hump Day Roll Call

Morning Dee and the rest of Illinois, Well, I am at work, but we have a lull, so, of course I need to get on OH, and get the morning fix. Anyway, I will be leaving work at noon, I have an appointment with a specialist, to look at the ulseration 0n my leg. I have been fighting it for over a month, and with lapband coming up fast, it has to be cleared up.  Its a great day, the leaves are starting to change, so it is a nice drive to work. I tend to go the country roads rather then the interstate. Of course, even with having to see a dr this afternoon, I will still get home a few hours early.  Gotta get back to work,

I couldn't believe how many leaves have falling off the tree.  High 80's here yesterday, and we are now at 63.

Hi Dee, What a gloriously beautiful day in Chicagoland. This is my kind of weather.  Sunny with a cool breeze.  Me and the pooch went for a long walk this morning and now I just finished getting all spruched up as I have a job interview at 3 pm. Wish me luck!

Thanks Christina! Well I'm home and I think/hope it went pretty well.  It's only a temp position but will last till the end of the year.  I should hear something next week. Keep your fingers crosssed for me :-)

Thanks Mary! I actually think it went well.  Company is in a similar industry from where I came so they are very interested in my industry knowledge. Only a temp job but it's something.  Should hear next week!

Well, it is late afternoon almost early evening and I am finally getting on the board. Work was hectic. I had a lot of finish up work from earier in the week that I did not want to leave until I get back to work on Monday morning because Monday's are a b**ch. It is also a ***** being the only full timer there because all the e-mails usually get directed to just me instead of the Record's unit. Thank goodness for Outlook's "out of office assistant". The other girl that works with me (that is really good had to follow up (and me) on several screw ups that the other part timer left us yesterday morning) (she is the the one I have complained (screw-up girl) about in the past, I sometimes would like to strangle her) I usually follow up on e-mails on Monday's especially after I am gone for several days like I will be starting at 3pm today, Wednesday (or it was supposed to be 3pm and ended up being almost 330pm). As a unit we have to get our paperwork correct because the prosecuting attorney is saving the department money in the long run by us getting them the correct paperwork. I did not even get a lunch! I only left the room for 10 minutes and watched the news in the kitchen.  Well, I can say that Dave and I are totally ready to leave for the Loop tomorrow morning.   (can you tell that I am ready to get the heck out of Dodge??!!) I am all packed and the only thing I need to do is cut his hair before the night is over and also hopefully go out for a bite to eat. I have been having a taste for a local Italian rest. calamri. Good thing you will all not be around me, it is full of garlic!!  I guess that I pity the people on the train in the morning!!   Well, see ya all on the flip flop.  Gotta run Christine
