Party Dates for November/December

OK friends, here are a few dates the clubhouse is available: Sunday, November 25th - this Sunday is the weekend of Thanksgiving. Saturday, December 1st Sunday, December 2nd. I am having my plastic surgery on November 10th. The clubhouse is ours all day, so we can start the party at any time. There is plenty of parking either by the clubhouse or on the street. There is a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove top with oven available for our use. There is a stereo with CD and TV also for us. Men and women bathrooms too. We can decorate if we choose. But first I need to find out which date is best for most of you. Then I can book the day. We would all need to bring a dish or drink or whatever as pot luck. We should try to be pouch friendly. Spouses are welcomed. There is plenty of room. So please drop me a line here. I would like to secure a date by this Saturday as the clubhouse gets booked up quickly. Thanks Lucy

Hi Lucy - I'm thinking the 1st or 2nd of December would be better then the weekend of Thanksgiving. It's early enough in December that it may not interfear with all the other holiday parties going on too. Thanks for setting this up, it's going to be a great time! Christina

Hi Christina. Yes, I was thinking along the same lines. Saturday probably would be better as people don't have to go to work the next day. We'll see what others will say.

I like the idea as we have the place all to ourselves. It is a very relaxing atmosphere.

I think the 1st of December would be good. I love this idea. Will the post op people give us pre ops tips on what we can bring that will be pouch friendly for you guys too!! I don't want to bring something and then no one can eat it....except me!

Hi Monica. Thanks for your response. December 1st sounds so good.. Pouch friendly foods = anything with protein in it! Vegetables, salads, or fruits. I can eat almost anything! YIKES! I'm really getting into this party... YAY!! Lucy

Hi Lucy, Sat Dec1 is a good day for me also. I already have plans for Dec2. All the ladies in my neighborhood get together for a christmas decoration exchange and eat lots of christmas cookies and snacks. I am going to lay off that stuff this year. I am sooo sore, I worked out 2 days in a row and I can hardly move! Every season the Biggest Loser comes on, I get motivated! Hope all is well Lucy and it was great meeting you in person!
