Good morning everyone on the IL board! Man, our little board has come alive recently, that is so fantastic. Let me say welcome to all the newbies that has been popping in recently, we are all so glad that you found us. Keep coming back and popping in. If you have any questions  there should be someone to answer or encourage you.   So, not much going on in my world other than work today.  I am taking the morning off from work to go with Dave to his 4 yr PO apt with Dr Rantis at 9am. Dave keeps playing around with 5-10# and he thinks that he is going to be scolded about it.  I think it will be fine, he just needs to leave a few things out of his diet a little more and he will be fine. Come on in all you newbies and introduce yourselves.  We all enjoy making new friends here. Say  Well, need to get moving. Christine

GM my dear. Anything new on your home front?  Yes, the board has its moments when it is   I have noticed that with this and the main board especially during the busy summer months.  Hopefully you are not as sad as on Sunday. Dave and I still miss our little Meggie and we had her put to sleep on Feb 11th of this year. We still think we hear or see her in the house because she was always underfoot.  Chris ps sorry to say this also but at least you did not have the expense of an emergency vet like we did on a Sunday morning. It was horrible, not the expense but seeing her suffer while we were there because she was aware that we were with her and she barely could respond to us.

Thanks for asking........No I'm not as sad.....chatting on this site really helped!    I guess if I hadn't found her it would have been a bit easier....but it would have been terrible to have my daughter find her that way......going to miss her.......she was so intuned to me that it was scarey at times!  who had thought a CAT could be like that?     Haven't heard anything yet       waiting for Dr. Rosens office to tell me my next move.......Bless them all for putting up with me!!!!!   They are the BEST!    So professional! Pam

Oh, those furry little critters just crawl into your hearts. It was a very good thing that your daughter did not find her, kids do not need that hurt at their young age. They have so much else going on with peer pressure, school work . . . You will hear soon from Dr R's office. Get some sleep now and have a great day. CB

To All of Tracy24th's Friends: Tracy has asked that we let you all know that she came thru surgery without any complications.   She is resting comfortably (as can be) and surgical pain is subsiding as  the hours pass.     She hopes to be home by Thursday, when she will update you on her progress. Thank you all for supporting her with your encouraging words.
