new to Illinois Group,
I am actually having my surgery in Peoria, I know that There are A LOTof support groups affilated with the OSF program. I am not sure, however, if they are open to the general public. The number to the program secretary is 309-282-1614. Her name is Mary and she might be able to help you.
Good luck to you,
Cindy
Hi you know you look very familiar, I went to one of the lapband surgery siminars through ST Francis, was very interesting, Had the Bod Pod, then I heard about this Dr. in Clinton, really like him I didn't have that extra 500.00 they wanted for their class, and insurance won't even pay for it, this way I don't have to come up with that extra and what ever Ihave to come up with can go the the actuall surgery,I have met with Dr.twice, Nut once, and had my phy.eval. I think papers where sent today. Now is the wait for BCBS approval. Who is doing yours, I have talked to MAry couple times very nice lady/ Good luck to you too, we can compare notes..........Becky
Hi and welcome to the IL board, I not much help either, just want to say welcome
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
