Anyone have Illinois Medicaid?

I have united health care as my primary, but they wont cover it...and I WORK for the company, go figure....anyways, I have medicaid as secondary and just found out that they cover gastric bypass. I  Was just wondering if anyone has had it done on medicaid and if so what doctor they went to.  I am having problems finding a doctor around the St. Louis, MO area that accepts medicaid.  much thanks!

The only place I've heard about is the University of Chicago.  I hope your able to get some help.

there is a couple in st louis but the wait is huge!!! good luck I would check with u of c or if you can afford about 8 grand you can go to the best surgeon in the state.

The Peoria Surgical Group takes the medicaid card but you have to live in a certain zip code area.  My zip code starts with 604, so they won't take me. I'm trying to find a house to rent in the Pontiac area, and they said that they would take me then.   Here's their number:  309-624-9810.  Good Luck.

Hello, I am currently using Illinois Medicaid for my surgery at University of Illinois in Chicago, and my surgeon is dr. Ayloo. I have been approved, so they are pretty good about it. go and check it out!!
