Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning IL -- I had a little bit of a WOW moment this morning..  I had my 6mo mamogram and the lady that took me back to change into the robe went right into the closet and pulled out a "regular" robe.  Man that felt good.  In the past I always had to have the biggest tent they could possibly find.  Then when they were developing the film and comparing the pictures from my last visit they said.. "you have lost a lot of weight".. The comparisons were so different.  Of course me and the technician were talking about the wls and how my boobs were hanging down to my knees.  And of course all my hanging skin.  Yes, all you pre-op folks.. this could happen to you too!  One of the wonderful perks of wls.  Not all experience this but I'm guessing many do.  But that's ok.  I can get them fixed later.  So, after 2yrs of having to have follow-ups every 6mo I've been cleared and can go back to 1yr check ups and the tech said it's possible they may not want to see me bac****il I'm 40..  Yahoo!  My doc will make that decision. So, what better way to start the morning w/ getting your boobs smashed like pancakes.  LOL

Hope everyone has a great day! Christina

Oh Christina that is  great news, I bet you were on cloud 9 ,and about the hanging skin boy I can't wait but like you said we can take care of that

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I am glad to hear that great news! The "wow" factor is pretty cool too!  Isn't it funny how the little things give us such a boost? Over the weekend, the neighbor was talking about how big Todd is (he's 6' 4") and how "tiny" I am.  It just made me smile from ear to ear!

Thanks Dawn!  I'm so glad I don't have to go back anytime soon.   "Tiny" is a huge WOW!  I would have a smile from ear to ear too! Congratulations on that wow moment!

Christina, that is great news and a wow all the way around. I know the feeling on being squeezed to death from pre op and PO. It no longer hurts as a PO. I used to be practically squirming and holding my breath it hurt so bad.  CB

Christina, That is wonderful news.  I had a scare about two years ago and was on the 6 month rechecks for a while and it is a major scare. I had lost about 20 pounds prior to my last one and the tech noticed the difference.  My check up should be interesting as well.  Just need to make that appointment.

See you on Sunday.  Things have been insane with me so I've not posted much at all.

Hi to you all-glad to see everyone is well.  Dawn, grandchildren will be your reward for not killing your teen-agers.  I thought my girls would make me gray by 40!  Chris, I really envy you and your trips to the Dells.  Eddie and I love it there, but just haven't really been able to take a trip.  We want to go to that crane sanctuary up there.  Christina BIG congrats on your wow moment and your good report.  I have been busy w/house stuff over the w/end and just lurking in the shadows.  Hope to see many of you Sunday-have a great one-Janet K

Dawn, Kids will always be kids, and never do what you think they should I had 2 that grew up and are  now living great lives, even  if I and their father were ready to disown them at times.  It sounds like everyone was busy today, I know I am swamped at work but I know it will get better  at some time. Looking forward to Sunday.

Pretty boring today.  Just finished up my daily search through all the job boards and sent out a couple of resumes. Have to go to the UPS store.  I sold a few things on ebay that have to be shipped. Other than that just planing on a long walk withthe pooch to enjoy the nice day.
Regards and hugs,

Ronna
