PLEASE READ!! WEIGHT ON MY ER REPORT IS WRONG-ADVISE NEEDED

PLEASE HELP. I WILL MAKE THIS SHORT AND SWEET. I HAVE BCBS IL-PPO. I JUST GOT THE ER NOTE FROM MY 2003 VISIT. IT SAYS 140LBS/AY WRONG. WERE DID THEY GET THIS AMOUNT? I WEIGHED MORE LIKE 200-220. I AM SCARED TO CHANGE THE NOT THAT COULD BE BAD NEWS. ANY ADVISE. I DON'T HAVE 5 YRS HISTORY THEY REQUIRE. WHAT SHOULD I DO. MY DOCTOR IS WRITING MY LETTER NEX MONDAY AND I'M DONE WITH ALL MY APPOINTMENTS. ANY ADVISE? PLEASE!!!

I cant say for sure but I dont see why it would be a big deal ive had my weight wrong before. I bet it wont even be mentioned. If it helps call your doctor or surgen and ask them what they think. they might be able to give some better advice. good luck.

Were you seeing your current doctor or another one at that time? And if so your chart notes will show your correct weight.

No i wasn't seeing another docotr. I went to the ER and ended up having an appendectomy. I don't know what to do. i'm sad now.

Touch base with your doctor and see what he says. They had to weigh you right before surgery so they would give you the correct drugs. The correct info should be in the surgery notes. You can obtain them if it is not over a certain amount of time, usually 10 years. They probably will charge you for the reproduction.
