ahh that's right the 23rd isn't til next week is it?  LOL  Here all week I've thought that this weekend was the 22 and 23.  I gotta slow down.  If that's the case, I might just be able to make it and then pick up my boys on the way home, ex lives in Streamwood.   I would love to meet everyone!!

Happy Thursday all- it sure is a beautiful day here.  Chilly in the morning, but it gets your blood pumping!  Well, the wound spclst. was here yesterday and said everything has been done wrong this past 3 wks and that is why the crater has gotten so big.  I knew that woman who was coming here didn't know what she was doing.  So now I have to use this ointment in the crater to dissolve the necrotic tissue that has grown there, otherwise the wound will never heal.  My other alternative is a surgery to remove it as there is so much.  Don't want that.  The method the 1st nurse used actually fed the tissue so it could grow like it has.  This ointment is an actual FDA approved drug-it's main ingredients are papaya enzymes and urea!  This isn't some home remedy or some thing from some off the wall health store.  It took me a few hours to digest that.  But, I guess if I could inject myself w/an insulin enhancer made from lizard spit for two years I can stuff the crater w/fruit juice and pee!  God is just testing me-and I don't know why-I did well on my SAT's  in high school! I did call the Home Health org. this a.m. and request the nurse who handled an even bigger wound in '04-she has been on vacation and they said they would send her instead of the ditz.  It will be interesting to see how this concoction works!  Chris-have a GREAT time in the Dells, Lucy good luck on your walk, and to everyone else I hope all in your lives is going well.  Enjoy this glorious day! Good evening everyone, Manhave I had a bad day. We had a pipe burst in our house in Colorado and the ceiling fell in the basement!!!!!! The realator is getting a contractor in to get it fixed. I thouhgt I was going to have to go there but she said she is going to take car of it. If it rains it pours, maybe the Hurricane that hit texa**** my house too!!!!! I think Carl got a Job with the City of Bradenton. hell know tomorrow. I hope so keep your fingers crossed and pray for us. Hope all is well. Carla
