Happy Wednesday

How is everyone this fine morning?? Its a little chilly in Illinois. Whats on your agenda for today?? I have to teach this morning, workout, then go to work. Busy Busy but I would not have it any other way. Happy Hump Day!!!

I have been so busy this week already that I hardly have time to jump on the PC at all.  Today consists of work, homework for me, early dinner and then off to a meeting for my oldest who has been invited to apply for a program through his middle school and IMSA.  For those who don't know what IMSA is it's the Illinois Math and Science Acadamy.  He's in all gifted classes this year and so he's eligible, but he still needs to apply.  Only 30 kids will be chosen.  IF he can get into this program it will be a couple of days a month after school for the rest of the year and it would really help on a college app, since he wants to be an architect. Then maybe I'll actually get some decent sleep tonight!

Good Morning Illinois!!! I am very chilly....still sitting here at work with my jacket on. Yesterday, when the kids got home from school, they discovered that the power was out.  It turned out that the power was out to 14 houses in Rock City from about 12:30 until almost 7 pm when they finally came out and fixed something on the pole.  When I re-set the clock in my bedroom with the alarm, I accidentally set it for am, so the alarm did not go off this morning and I was 45 minutes late for work!  I hate to start the day like that, it seems to throw the whole day off whack. I will work all day, maybe run to Wally-World for batteries, then head home for supper and a ride on the stationary bike.  I am REALLY trying to get in the habit of riding it daily. I will be keeping Kim in my thoughts as she figures out how to deal with the BCBS denial that she received, and I will be trying to help in any way that I can.  I will also be thinking of you all as you go through your day! Thanks Dawn, I am just so upset!!!  My husband is not making things any better!  He said he knew they would denie me and then asked me what I wanted for my birthday..a treadmill or a eliptical?  Hell,  why don't you just buy me waffel iron!!!  The good thing is that we leave tomorrow morning for Disney for a week!

Tell him which one you want, because you will be needing something for after surgery to help you keep up with the exercise.  If you get a chance, send the wording of the denial. Have a wonderful trip and please tell me all about it (where you stayed and how you liked it) because we are trying to plan a Disney trip for next year.

Your hubby evidentally does not know that a man is not give a woman any gift that has a cord attached because it is telling her that she "has" to work at something!  I see from your second post that you had better news. You will probably not get this until you get back. I am glad that you got better news so you can leave on your trip in better spirits. Chris

Good Evening Illinois,I am new to this site, its just great  to see how you all reach out  with  Christan Love and Respect . I'm in my last steps before they send in my request. I have BCBS,and thought they might be pretty understanding, and give the go in a month or so, but as I read others and their dealings I don't know now. From what the surg. office says it all in the documentation.I am so nervous, and just want to get going on it. the more I wait and think, the more nervous I get. The evenings are getting as cool as the mornings, will be fire place weather before long.  I keep every single one of  you in my prayers,please consider me in yours, thank you, Becky

Good Morning IL - I have to make this quick.  This has been a training week from HE## at work.  The new system we are going to takes us about 15 yrs backwards.  What were they thinking??  Anyhow, my days have been consumed trying to figure the system out while Corporate is still here.  Nothing else going on.  Calvin and I are doing fine, just working too much.  The weekend get away was really nice.

My prayers are w/ Dee and her family while the face the loss of her sister-in-law. Kim -  I'm pulling for you.  Don't give up the fight! Janet -  Hang in there sweetie..  I hope you heal quicker then there saying.   Monica -  That's awsome that your son is doing so well in school.. yea for him!  How's your other son and pup doing?
