I think I am gonna talk to my new PCP.  There is some things going on in my life right now, and I just want to sit here and cry, and give up.  Anybody have any ideas?  I don't want to gain back the weight I have lost, or quit losing. Dee

Dee- Please talk to a professional.  By all means, if you need a shoulder to lean on, I'm a good listner but ultimately, you need to seek professional help.  Do you take anti-depressents?  I take Wellbutrin and swear by it.  It makes me even and everyone knows if I skip a dose.  Kinda scarry huh? Send me a pm if you want my phone number sweetie.

BIG HUGS,

Christina

Christina, Thank hon, I am calling the doc this morning.  I don't take anything now.  I use to take paxil, but after surgery, it wasn't working, and that was all my other pcp would put me on.  Wellbutrin is one of the meds I was looking at. Thanks hon, and I may need to take you up on that offer. Dee

Dear Dee: Please do not be ashamed to talk to your doctor.  That is why they are there.  My daughter also takes Wellbutrin and it has helped her a lot.

I am SOOOOOO sorry to hear that you are not feeling good.  I am also sorry to see that you are still being bothered by people on the main board.  Please just stay away from there.  I pretty much gave up on the main board over a year ago.  Very seldom do I even go there, let alone post there.  They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!  This IS supposed to be a place for support, not cut-downs!!!!! We love you and will support you always!!!!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Dee, I am new and don't know you or anyone else on here yet, But I still feel for you, I take Cymbalta  and it does help alot,  I too am here if you need to talk to someone please let me know

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I went through a very rough time prior to my surgery and my pcp gave me Lexapro.  It was a life saver.  I didn't have any bad side effects either.  It just made me feel more like myself and it stoped the constant crying and jumping down people's throughts. I was able to stop taking it about 3 months after surgery. But at the time it was a real life saver for me. Please talk with your doctor to find a solution that will work for you.
Regards and hugs,

Ronna

Dee, please talk to your PCP if you didn'r already.A little something to take the edge off is probly what you need. I was there a few years ago and I wasn't even aware of it. We had some issues going at the time, and the Doctor put me on Prozac. I now can tell if I forget to take it, and believe me, it doesn't happen to often. You also know if you need to, you can call me. I will email you my phone numbers.  Lisa
