Good morning girls and boys of the IL board!!  We will need these shades in my area today. It has been a glorious weekend so far. What ya got cookn' activity wise for today?  Hopefully it is something fun with the family. As I had mentioned a couple of times we have a young couple coming over with their 3 girls, ages 6, 3+ and 17 months. The are very attention demanding kids because mom always is showering them with attention so when you are not focusing on them they are interrupting you. She cannot even talk on the phone with you w/o them acting out negatively in the background and she eventually has to get off of the phone. So, we have an "antless" (to steal a phrase from my doctor) BBQ planned, it will all be indoors. We do not have a picnic table but a three season room so that will be the closest to the outside we will get. At least no skeeters either.  It is a two fold reason for them to come over, the dad is our computer IT person and he is coming to fix a couple of problems on my two PCs.  . Well come on in and tell us what is going on with the family and yourself.  & , Christine

Good morning Christine and Illinois!  It is sort of cloudy here today, but suppose to get sunny and in the 80's.  First we couldn't get rain, and now that is all it has been doing lately.   Today I am off to the St. Louis Rams football game!  I use to hate football till I went with DH to one, now I love it. I would like to ask for prayers for my brother-in-law's family.  His sister-in-law has ALS, and she is in her final moments of life.  She is only taking a few breaths, and has not opened her eyes since yesterday morning.  I know she will soon be in a better place where ALS won't exist, but I pray for the family so they may get some peace. Thanks you all. Dee

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

I always liked to take binoculars with to the Bears games to people watch and of course to see the tight little butts of the players in their jersey pants!

Dee, Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.  We pray for the end to her suffering and then for her family.  ALS is a horrid disease and one that there is no cure for.  Hopefully, there will be a cure found for this disease sometime soon.

Best Wishes,

Mary

I will keep your family in my prayers.  It is a horrid disease and as devastating to the family as the patient.  God be with them all-Janet K
