Hi Kathy, It was great meeting you!!! And fun to see Rocky and Copper walking together like a team!  :) Here's the info on the walk that I'm doing with the dog(s) on Sept 30th....come join our team if you are interested.  We aren't doing any fundraising challenges, etc....just want to participate and have a fun day! http://www.pawschicago.org It's called Run for their Lives......our team name is Team Wigglebutts....you and Rocky are definitely welcome to join us....as is anyone/everyone from the IL Board.  (they have lots of activities planned for after the Run/Walk....) Hi !!!! Come join us if you can !!  I have 2 dogs that will be walking....not sure if Copper will sit this one out or not.  I'm trying to get a friend of mine (without a dog) to join us that day so that all 3 of my dogs can participate.  Either way, it will be a blast!!! I DID go to the Helicopter unit and met some of the guys.  (yeah, I'm definitely in love with the lead pilot....WOW!!!)  I didn't go up in the 'copter cuz they needed to fly all 4 officers that night...BUT I will be going back. I took some pics, but can't get my scanner to work!!!  I'll bring them on Sunday if I can't get them scanned earlier. talk to you soon! Paula

Hi Paula! It was really nice meeting you today at the walk.  I really think you will like Dr. Rosen and his Team.  They are like a second family to so many of us here on the IL board.  I have said this a zillion times and I'll say it again.  Support is way up there on my list of ways to be successful on this journey.  It makes me stay accountable.  Between the monthly support groups from Dr. Rosens office then the daily support from my OH IL family, it keeps me grounded.  We have a daily roll call so pop in and introduce yourself.  The weekends are a little slower because everyone is out and about doing there thing.
