Oh Dang! I cannot be there this year because Dave and I are going to a festival in the Dells. You can meet my doctor and his team. They are going to be having a table/booth at the event. I believe a couple of the patients are going to be there also for the walk. Stop over and introduce yourself, they would love to meet you in person instead of seeing faces from the posts on this board. Chris

Good morning everyone on the IL board.

I just wanted to echo what Kathy has posted about the walk. It is a really fun time. There is no set length or time frame that you need to walk and it is at your own pace and ability. The walking paths are out in a prairie and it is beautiful. The health club it is at is a beautiful facility and the event is very well planned. There will be refreshments, prize drawings, bariatric information and many others either in the pre op or PO walk of life. There will also be medical professionals from many of the bariatric companies and doctor's offices (meet my Doctor, Dr Jeff Rosen) in the Chgo area. Hope you can make it and meet some new faces and make new friends. I cannot be there because Dave and I are in WI starting on Friday but enjoy yourselves one and all.
