medical coverage

I am 5 years post op. but my friend is desperate to have gastric bypass, do you know of anyone in IL that accepts the medical card?

The only one I know of is Dr. Eagon's office out of St. Louis. I believe he is affiliated with Barnes. Even though they are in MO, they do still accept the IL card. I just didnt meet their qualifications so I had to self pay for another surgeon. Good luck, and tell your friend not to give up.....Im glad I didnt!!! Good luck to him/her!

The Peoria Surgical Center accepts the card for gastric bypass.  That is who I hope to go to.  You can find all the doctors on this site.  Good Luck.
