We went to my DH's Aunt & Uncle's 60th wedding anniversary.  I am glad we took the time to go, his uncle looks very bad, and we are afraid this might be the last time to see him.  Well, saturday night we stopped at Applebee's, and I have no idea what I was thinking, I guess I wasn't.  The waitress asked us what we would like to drink, we both said mudslide's.  She then asked regular or mucho...Dummy that I am, and yes, it was late.   I said mucho.  Duhhhhhhhhhhh Dee I ended up taking 5 small sips, and thank god our motel room was right next door.  I ended up so drunk, I don't remember anything, until I started dumping at 3 a.m. I can't believe at almost a year out I did something as stupid as that, and guess even at almost a year out, we are still learning.  I swear I am done with that, even saying the word mudslide makes me gag now.

I am a bander and I have been for 6 months and I still can not get it in my head that drinking anything with my  food dosen't work. I start what they call slimming everytime. You would think I would know this very well after going through it so many times. I feel like a lab rat that just won't learn after getting shocked time after time.   LOL

I'll live thru your experience.  I don't want to make the same mistake.  My head does things like that sometimes.  Calvin and I will be out for dinner and my head just takes over.  I'll be asking Calvin..  You want to get an appetizer, I think I'll get soup and a salad and an entree'......UH, hello Christina, come back to reality.  You can't eat that damn much.  We just have to take this one day at a time sweetie.   BTW, it's been a very long time since I have had an alcholic beverage but man....... a mudslide does sound yummy!
