Tasty Protein Bars?

Hi all,

I hope you are all having a good Labor day weekend.

I have a hard finding something to eat in the morning. I am

looking to try a few different protein bars. Any sugestions on a good and tasty one to try.

I enjoy some of the Pure Protein bars.  I find them at Wal-Mart.

Hey Mike,  Pure protein Bars are the way to go; I love chocolate peanut butter. I'm sort of picky when it comes to protein bars and this is the only flavor I like.

Mike I love love love the zone perfect protein bars the peanut butter and chocolate taste like a whatchamacallit bar to me. I also like the mint one as well. I get them at walmart or Walgreen's and I get them individually instead of buying a whole case. I also like the special k bar chocolate and peanut butter or the strawberry yogurt. I just want to put out there that I don't dump on sugars so I am not sure if these have to much for regular RNY patients so check before you buy!! good luck Dee

I like the Luna Bars myself.  They are all 9 or 10 grams of protein each and 180 calories. They come in a load of different flavors.  My favorites are Chocolate Peppermint Stick and Carmel Nut Brownie (big chocolate fan here:-)) I usually buy them from drugstore.com and watch for their sales.  Can get a box of 15 for $13.99.  You can also get them at Target and lots of other places but they are usually around $1.00 a bar.

I eat Clif Energy bars for breakfast.  Choc Chip or Peanut butter

Snickers also have a really good energy/protein bar.
