Restarting my journey to be healthy and thin
Good Morning Kim - Great minds think alike! We must have been posting the morning roll call at the same time. Glad to hear you had a good weekend. Maddie will adjust, it's all new for her. How is Mom adjusting??
I sure hope they get your paperwork processed soon and the wait is not long. Ok, I already posted what's going on w/ me on my other post so I'm going to keep this short since I need to get busy.
Have a great day! Christina
Good Morning Kim and all of Illinois! I have been catching up with all of the weekend posts----sure hope to hear some news about my home computer soon. My weekend WOW: Olivia and I went shopping on Saturday and we saw a shirt in the junior's department that we both liked so we bought it to share! Olivia is my 11 year old, so it is pretty cool to be able to share shirts with her.
We went to a sober biker wedding on Saturday and it was outdoors. Considering that it had been raining for the past couple of weeks, the weather broke and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. I had never been to a biker wedding before and it is really cool. They made an aisle from all of the motorcycles and after they couple was presented, they "saddled up" and all went for a ride around town.
Yesterday, we did our last shift for the lemonade stand at the fair and closed it down for this year. It was not too bad, only a little bit slow and TONS of bees and flies swarming around all of the fresh fruit and sugar. It was interesting, because last year at the fair, working lemonade, Olivia got stung and we found out that she is allergic. So this year, I had her Epi-Pen and Clarinex in my pocket the whole time.
Today, the kids go back to school full time and David has his first freshman football game. It will be in Dubuque, Iowa, and I will not be able to go since it starts at 5:30 and I won't even be home from wor****il 5 or so. I am wishing them luck, because I don't think David is eligible to play yet either. I am keeping my fingers crossed for everyone that is awaiting their approvals. That was the hardest thing, I swear...........but it will be over before you know it! Everyone have a lovely day!
The first day of school was today. My grandsons was so excited that they got to ride with grandma this morning. So their moms had to meet us at school. I have 66 kids this year on the bus. 6 new kindergarteners. The rest are the kids I have had on for years. I did have me a wow moment this morning too. I got on the bus and was able to pull the seat all the way up and the steering wheel did not rub my belly. I also had to readjust my seat belt smaller from last year. Well going to go clean the bus and assign seats for the kids so I know where they are at.
