Hello Everyone....

Hello Everyone....  I am really excited I just finished my 6 month sup. diet and have seen the nutritionist and had the psyc. evualtion.  I had my records faxed to Mercy and soon it will be in the hands of the Cigna insurance.  I only lost 3lbs during my 6 month diet....but I yoyo'd like crazy with those 3lbs ... I think it just shows what happens during my diets.  Oh well nothing to do now but wait.  I am soooo nervous!  And I am afraid to be to excited because I don't want to be super disappointed if they say NO.  Which I am trying to be really positive!  They have been wonderful with over things they have covered sooo...   Well anyways .... I am sure everyone experiences some form of this ... but  I go from excited to a little scared like daily....back and forth.  Please keep your thoughts and prayers with me as I wait on the fence post :)    -Gina

I am in the same boat as you are. Different Dr, different insurace (Anthem Bc/Bs) but its the same. Hopeing to submit to the insurance co. next week. Keep the fingers and toes crossed, the wait will go by faster then the diet did.

Hi Gina - The thoughts/feelings you are having are all so common.  Just hang in there.  In my opinion, you've proved to them that you can't lose the weight even on a supervised diet.   Congrats on jumping thru all the hoops.  Now the waiting game. Christina

Hi Gina~ Or should I say Hi neighbor!  I am in the same boat as you.  The paperwork should be sent this week.  My Dr.'s psychologist wasn't in last week, so he couldn't look over the test's and letter from my psysc. Just playing the waiting game.  I hope to hear something before we go to Disney on Sept 13th.  Then my goal is to have surgery at the end of Sept or sometime in Oct.  I have BCBS of Il and we will see how that goes.  If anyone ever wants to chat or get together,let me know! Hello - I just spoke to my doctors office and they said it would be about a week before they could have the papers to them.  Oh well... so maybe 2 weeks before it will be submitted :)  I was hoping to have my surgery the end of Sept or Oct. also.    -Gina :)
