Good Morning Illinois, I hope everyone is staying dry today.  Let's hope the rain stays away and those in flooded areas get some relief.  What does everyone have planned for today ?  I am off later to have lunch with some old friends from a place I used to work.  After lunch we are headed to Yorktown Mall to shop. Good Morning All - I'm just up long enough to take care of the dogs this morning and now heading back to bed.  I did not get home until 2am and my bod is soooo not used to this.  It's kicking my butt!

Good morning everyone! Today I'm headed to the pool (finally) for some relaxation. No special plans this week, just work, work and more work! Thank goodness the rain is over. Now for ComEd to get the street signal lights back on in Mount Prospect as well as opening of the roads in the area. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone! Lucy

Good morning everyone!! Not much on my plate today. Just getting ready for lecture tomorrow!!

Not much going on for me today. Went yesterday and worked on my moms ho****er heater. Fixed about 4 leaks in her basement. Went and got my gransons shoes for school. Tomorrow its back to driving 63 kids back and forth to school. 2 of those kids are my grandsons. Its the first day so we get out at 11:30. The rest of the week we will go to school from 8 to 1:50 under the heat schedule. Well thats my week hope yours is DRY and please stay safe.

Well, we are back home. We had a real late night yesterday. I am enjoying some left over pizza from Friday evening right now for lunch. Just got done giving all of the kitchen counters a cleaning by moving all the small items out and washed completely under them. Feels so good to get that done every once in a while. Yorktown Mall, now there is a blast from my past. I can remember when that opened up back when I was a kid (close to 40 years ago) my sister and I would beg our parents to take us shopping. I think besides Randhurst it was the only other larger mall that was all enclosed. I think I am going to lounge in my easy chair here in a little while and then later this afternoon I will take the bicycle out and go for a ride. Take care, Christine

Hello everyone!  Well we got home late last night from TN.  I am SO glad to be home!  Today will be spent just relaxing, we were in the car for about 14 hours yesterday.  I did laundry in our room on Friday so I don't have to do it today.  The kids will start school tomorrow and it's back to work for me.  Though I do have to go to the dentist because on the very first morning on vacation I was eating and one of my crowns fell out!  I managed to keep it in place all week, but it's starting to get irritated.  Go figure. The only good thing about it was that it kept me from eating my fave taffy there!  LOL I will go for a walk later with the dogs too though.  We did a lot of hiking and walking on vacation and I want to keep it up here! Have a wonderful day everyone!
