Rain again girls and boys!  The "moskeeters" are getting real thick also. I can hardly step out my front door to get the mail with out the buggers coming after me. Gov Blog-O has declared 5 of the northern counties as disaster areas. Dee - looks like on the radar map on weather.com that the rain has extended down by you. Hopefully you will not get drenched like we have lately but will get some nice soaking rains to nourish the plants and earth. On a more pleasant note - anything good going on today or tomorrow? Dave and I have a couple of things to attend to before we head over to Eaglewood for the afternoon and evening. Come on in and fill the rest in what's cookn' in your life take care for now Christine

Good Morning Chris,

Being about 100 miles south and west of you, it looks like the rain has stopped for now. Is it staying darker in the mornings now and getting darker earlier at night?  You sound like you are going to be as busy as usual.  No major plans for this weekend, today I need to go get a few things at either  Kmart or Wally World.  Lisa

I just saw the radar.  Yuck!  I wanted to go swimming.  I get in the pool and walk, it helps my back and ribs.  I feel for ya all though, as bad as not having any, it is just as bad for you all having too much. Today I am cleaning house, and maybe hopefully find a new top for an anniversary party I have to go to next weekend.  I have looked, and all I can find is either cap sleeves, (not on me with these arms), or long sleeves, and I think it will still be to hot next weekend.  Next Saturday I won't be around, cause it is a 3 to 4 hour drive for the party, and DH and I are staying over at a hotel.  Woooooooohoooooooooo, night out for me...lol  I lead a dull life, can ya tell...lol Everyone have a nice and dry Saturday. Hello All I have to say that here in Springfield we have had some rain but not like the rest of the state. The fields are dry and the grass is dead................no rain today so we will see,  I am going to make a cake for my middle daughters birthday!!  She wants ribs and bar-b-que chicken,,,,,,,,,,,and when all of that is finished I have to complete my wallpapering project.  I also want to wash and groom my furbaby..........a pom and he gets sad when I do that.  So I have a very busy day!! Shannon P.S. I am down 30 lbs

Good Morning Everyone - Just popping in for a quick sec to let you know I'm alive.  The weather has been terrible.  My internet connection at work yesterday was down most of the day then I worked last nigth at bakers square.  Oh my gosh we were busy.  So many places are still without pwr around us so everyone decided to eat at bakers square.  I have friends in the area that are still w/out power. I did not get home until 2am.  I thought I would rather slit my wrist then to look at another freakin pie.  I slept until noon and now I'm up and heading to the laundry mat because my dryer has decided to crap out on me.

I'm working 5 - close the next three days so I really don't know how much I'll be on line.   Take care and I'll talk to you soon. Christina

This is a test, only a test.  I went to three different laundry mats only to see signs on the door.  "CLOSED, NO POWER"  Great!!!!!!!!!!  So I called Calvin and said.. Now what the heck do I do?  I have no work pants for tonight.  He said, go buy a pair.  Oh, duhhh.. I don't know why I did not think about that.  So I'm back home, getting ready to press the slacks and out the door I go for another fun filled evening.  I had to go by some liquid tylenol because I ache so bad.  I wonder if my body will ever get used to this? Talk to ya, Christina
