Janet's in the hospital

This is Diane, Janet's sister.  She was hospitalized last night with severe pain on her right side and the opening from the surgery was filled with pus and decaying skin.   The CAT scan revealed fluid where the gall bladder used to be.  They are treating her with antibiotics and pain meds.   She's higher than a kite right now.  She'll be in for a couple of days.  She's in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

I just replied but I'm not sure what happened.   So I'll try it again. Thank you Diane for letting us all know about Janet.  I just adore Janet, you're lucky to have such a wonderful sister. Janet will be in my prayers.  Hopefully getting the IV meds will help with a quicker recovery.  That darn gall bladder surgery sure has given her a tough time to go.  Please let me know if I can help in anyway.  I live very close to the hospital and work in Carol Stream so if you need anything don't hesitate to ask. When Janet mentioned a couple of days ago about the condition of her wound I thought then that there was possibly a problem. She is at a fantastic facility and I am sure in good hands. Christine

I am so sorry to hear that Janet had to go to the hospital, but she was having a hell of a time with that infection...........I hope she enjoys her "high" and heals up soon!       Pam
