Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning IL, what is on your agenda today? Not much for me other than more catch up at work. I would like to do some online research at work on a couple of subjects but everytime I try to do that I never get to it because of interruptions. So we will see what happens. Good Morning Illinois, Another rainy morning in LaSalle County. This is starting to get old. But, at least it is warm, and its not snow. I was just talking to my daughter as she was driving north up Rt 47. She  was saying that there is standing water on the berm of the roads, and in the ditches. I think they got a bit more then us. We had a little over 3 inches in the rain gaga yesterday. Haven't looked at it yet this morning, I also will be heading for work  in a bit. One more week of 2 days, then back to 5 for a while.  Hope everyone has a good day and is able to stay dry.

I do not think that this water situation is over yet. We might not have had much rain in the last couple of days but the flood waters are on the rise for the Des Plaines and DuPage rivers. You are correct with this weather getting old - so depressing. I need sun for the vit D. Chris

Good morning.  Still sore here, but getting along.  I am trying to find a pic of me to put in my avator.  DH took pics off the comp, and burned them on a CD, and guess what, he did it wrong.  MEN!!  Can't live with them, and can't live without them. Have a good day! Dee

Went and worked out this morning and then off to work. I have to go to a wake tonight as my great aunt mary passed away. I also need to prepare for my lecture tomorrow morning!!

Good Morning Everyone - Not a whole lot of anything going on w/ me.  Just work, work, work.  I have to agree, this weather is for the ducks!  I've had enough. So, I would love to get together with you ladies/gents.  What works best for everyone?  Unfortunately, I know we are not going to be able to work with everyones schedule but hopefully we can work something out.  I would even like to see maybe a once a month gathering down the road. Any suggestions on places that accomodate large groups?

Christina, your idea for a get together sounds great.  no ideas where you could do this, but let me know when you decide. Also, the other day you mentioned that the Illinois Board was like your home. I didn't realize at the time until I thunk about it, I agree with you. I really haven't been going on the other boards for a while now. How many of you other ladies and gents feel the same way. Lisa

Funny you say "weather for ducks" when I was in 3rd grade our reading book had a story line that was called "Weather for Ducks" I have looked all over the internet to see if I could buy that hard cover book and have not located it. I went to Catholic grade school so maybe I am not searching the correct avenues. Chris
