YEAH!  The weekend is here. This girl needs a much needed rest without all the running around. Bet ya never thought you would hear me say that. I do get tired once in a while, though I do enjoy all of the excitement of being on the go.  I have a realitively slow day at work. Both of my part timers are off so that means I can listen to whatever I want off of the internet or a CD. It is going to be some catch up time with things sitting on my desk. I went to a fantastic lunch meeting yesterday and we had a speaker that capsulized the freedom of information act law (FOIA). He teaches it in several different states and in addition to knowing all the different state's FOIA laws he also knows the federal law. And he spoke to us at a laymen's level so we could understand the "lawyereez".  We have some of our board members that are having job stresses, please keep them in mind during the course of the day and we also have members that are in the early stages of approval. For many of us we just have the day to day weekend junk that needs to be done, get through it safely. Enjoy your families everyone and have a great day.  & , Christine

GM Chris and the Illinois board,  Here in LaSalle County, we are under a heavy fog advisory until 9:00 am. I am so glad that DH only has to drive 1.5 miles to work. Not the 35 to 40 that he drove for almost 35 years. I can now relax when he is going to and from. He manages a Kroger fuel center.  I have a kinda slow day today. I need to get cleaning for the family BBQ on Sunday, so I can cook all day tomorrow. I also have to get food in this house, and have fun with my granddaughter who is with us until Sunday. She will start 4th grade on Monday in Bloomington. A good friend called from Northern Calf. last night, Was wondering if i had a date yet for the lapband, And also wondering how the Cpap machine was working out. Told her I was still waiting on the lung/sleep Dr. so I am still waiting, and the machine seems to be doing ok.  I need coffee, and to get ready for the rest of today, Lisa

Lisa, sounds like you have a rather full day and weekend. Enjoy the BBQ with the family. For the last 28 years I have only had to drive 1/2 to 2 miles to work depending on where my PD was located. I am in the thrid building since the beginning of my career with IPD. Love the short drive/walk/bike ride. Chris

Good morning IL~ This morning I am meeting Pam S. at panera bread to chit chat.  It is always fun meeting people in person.  I am not babysitting today, so I'm a free woman!  Not really..I still have Maddie, but we plan to have a fun day together.  Any Moms out there????? If so, you know what tonight is!!!!!  High School Musical 2!!!!!! Maddie and I plan to have dinner and pop some popcorn and plant our but on the couch and sing and dance to the movie!!!! Sunday I am having a baby "sprinkle" for the kids mom that I babysitt for.  It will be her 3rd child, so it's not a big shower.  Just a few family members and close friends.  I am not going big on the decorations, as I usually do.  For her present I am framing a beautiful poem about having three children.  It will make her cry!  Them I am going to make her a video scrapbook!  Does anyone have any suggestions to some real good songs that are kind of sentimental????  For christmas I did this for them, and I used the song "thank God for kids" and "friends are friend forever".  I have more time than money, so anything I can make and mean something I rather do!!! Sorry to bore you guys with the detail!  Better go get the princess up!  She is going with me to meet Pam S.   Kim

How was your time with Pam? Dave and I love Panera. We usually share a 1/2 of a whole sandwich and then have the other half for a meal later on. Their sandwiches are so big. We had a great breakfast souffle this past Saturday downtown near Michigan Ave at a Panera shop.  How did the mommy/Maddie movie night go? Disney is going to be showing the first movie here in about a 1/2 hour. I have to admit Dave and I watched it also. It was a really cute movie. It was refreshing to see a good quality program on that did not have swearing or sexual references in. How about the song Butterfly Kisses in the video?  Chris
