Monday Roll Call

Good morning one and all on the IL board.  Well back to reality today for Dave and me. We had a great time downtown. We packed a lot into 3 days including a lot of walking, took a Segway tour (they are really easy to do), drank in the wonderful vitamin D via sunshine, walked Navy Pier, and went on several boat rides (fast, slow and slower), more walking and people watching. We have only scratched the surface of doing what there is down there to do. We are big walkers and it is a walker's paradise. Well, what is going on in your world today? I am back to the grind at work. A little sunburned and weary but that is ok. Come on in and give everyone an update. Christine

Welcome back Chris! Sounds like you and Dave had a fabulous weekend.   I really don't have much going on today.  Work, then orientation at Bakers Square.  I'm still playing nurse Nancy to Calvin and now three dogs.  My million dollar dog is the only one that I did not have at the vet this weekend.  The other three were all at the vet w/in a 24hr period. 

Calvin is doing good.  Each day his wound looks better and better.  It's just going to take some time to heal. I've gotta get busy.  Have a great day everyone! Christina

Good Morning!  Today I have to work, then take Tyler for football registration, take Austyn to register for school and then come home and make dinner.  After dinner I plan on taking a nice walk around the neighborhood with at least one of our dogs!  I have to exercise more!!  I have no motivation though....terrible isn't it? This week will be kinda busy as we are leaving for vacation on Saturday morning and there is much to be done. Chris, I'm so glad that you and Dave had a good weekend.  Sounds wonderful. Christina, I'm glad that Calvin is doing so well, you are both still in my prayers.  good luck at Baker's Square tonight.  I have to ask though, which one are you working at??  I live not far from you at all and we love Baker's Sqaure.  Maybe we'll meet you sometime!  lol Have a GREAT day everyone!

Hey Monica - You do have a busy week...  I'll be working at the Wheaton location Main St/Geneva.  I work in Carol Stream and the Wheaton location is only about five minutes from my "real" job.  LOL I'm all set.  I feel like it's my first day of school. Have a great day! Christina

Busy Busy weekend. I had orientation for my teaching job and my nephews b-day party! Getting nervous and excited. My first class meets next monday!!

Trying to warm up. This office is kept at 70, a bit cool for me.
This week i wil have my granddaughter visiting from Wed on, and then a big family get together on Sun at our house.

Good Afternoon all, I am FINALLY home...yay!!!  All went well but my ex mother in law doesn't look good at all and she slept for most of our visit. Everyone is exhausted but I have laundry to do..the laundry fairy isn't going to come and do it for me...oh well. Hope everyone has a good day

Happy Monday Chris and everyone! Just got home.  I had a job interview this morning and I think it went pretty well.  Will be keeping fingers crossed for the next few days anyway.  It's an HR Director spot for a manufacturing company in Elk Grove.  Would be right up my alley and the money is right on tarket too.  One can only hope. Saw a great movie last night. No Reservations with Catherine Zetta-Jones.  Nice mix of drama and comedy but definately a Chick-Flick. Not much going on this week.  At least the heatwave seems to have broken.  Was really nice outside this morning.:-) Have a great week all!
