Roll Call - Happy Saturday

Good Morning Everyone - What's going on today?  My day has already been altered a little.  One of my labs has a hurt back leg/paw.  So, I took her to the vet this morning and she is having early stages of hip problems.  I tell ya, I really should own the place as much money as we dump into animal care.  My new pup was there yesterday for her second round of puppy shots and she has kennel cough and sounds terrible.  Calvin just about crapped when they told him that we needed to bring Casey in for "sauna treatments" everyday for 1hr  to help with the cough.  LOL   He does not know yet about Raven and her hip x-rays today.  Cha'ching! I'm getting ready to buckle down and start cleaning since we are having company this evening.  I still need to run to the cleaners, bank & grocery too. No time for a nap today!!!

Hello Christina and everyone else,    I just have a minute to talk. Christina I am sorry about your doggy; I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and the eldest dog has arthritis and seizures and he's only 5 yrs old and my baby puppy Gracie has allergies so I know how expensive animals can be. Well I'm off and running;  I have to give my son a hair cut and then his football game; I'm leaving for Michigan at 4 am.  Hope everyone has a great weekend. Talk to you Monday when I get back.

CHRISTINA    YOU MAKE ME TIRED JUST HEARING ABOUT YOUR DAYS!   SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DOG.....BUT DOGGIE SAUNA.....DOES SOUND FUNNY BUT I BET IT WOULD WORK!   I HEARD ONE TIME THAT THE EXPENSIVE ARTHRITIS MEDS FOR ANIMALS IS JUST ECOTRIM.....SO MY FRIEND TALKED TO HER VET AND THEY FIGURES WHAT THEY NEEDED TO GIVE THE DOG!   SHE SAID SOOOOO MUCH CHEAPER!              PAM  

Good afternoon Ilinois, Cristina, I am so sorry that you are having medical problems with your 4 legged babies. I know when we had a pup, we would sometimes spend more on her then our kids for medical treatments. And we couldn't deduct that :) Hopefully Raven;s hip problems don't progress to fass, and Casey's  breathing problems are over within a few days.  Melissa, please be careful going to Michigan tomorrow and Kim, you day sounds as fast paced as Christina's. I woke up this morning with the bright idea to clean out the refrigerators top freezer. I definitly don't need to buy any meat for the next month or so. So, like all mothers,  called my kids and told them dinner was on for tonight. Now I have to run to the store for buns and chips. Corn on the cob too, if its any good yet.  Lisa

Good Afternoon everyone!  I hope everyone's day so far as been wonderful and will continue as well. I got up early this morning and took my van in for an oil change and found out that the rotars on the brakes were bad too, (we kinda figured that anyway by the way it was handling).  So 3 hours and $500 later I have a van that drives like a dream.  I got home about 11:30am and decided that hubby and I were going out to see Harry Potter on the IMAX.  It was great.  I love Harry Potter...lol  We just got home a bit ago and I haven't done anything else really.  LOL  It'll be a quiet night.

Today I went to my psyc app. for my mmpi results.I passed!!!!!  That's amazing, seeing that my husband always says that I'm crazy! Everything went good though!  The doc is going to write a letter and fax to Maggie on Mon.  The only other thing I have left is my last pcp app in a couple of weeks and then Maggie will submit the paper work and I will find out if everthing is a go or not!   Christina,  I'm sorry to here about the dogs.  A doggie sauna???  I wish I could be a dog and relax in a sauna for a hour!lol We have been throwing around the idea of getting a dog. I think it would be good for Maddie.  I want a little one that doesn't shed and you can't be allergic from.  Oh yeah- and I don't want to pay out the butt either for the dog! Tomorrow we are going to church and the church picnic, then we are taking Maddie back to the fair.  It should be nice spending time as a family!!!  I hope everyone is enjoying there weekend!  Be safe and stay cool!!
