Friday Roll Call

Good Morning IL. Thought I would pop in and post the roll call while I was waiting for my java to brew. The weekend is here, WOOHOO. You know the plans we have so I will not bore you with the details again. What is going on in your world? Should be pretty warm & humid here in my area. Good time to head for a pool or your backyard pool if you have or know of one.  Come on in and tell the rest of the IL OH family what is happening with you in the next few days. I will not be here at all to respond back but you are all in my heart this weekend. Now, everyone play nice in the sandbox while I am gone.  & Christine

Good Morning IL - Chris -  I hope you and Dave have a fantastic weekend. I'm off to work in a few minutes.  Calvin and I are going to a minor league baseball game tonight.  Calvin was released yesterday to go back to work on light duty.  He can't do any heavy lifting but can deligate. Tomorrow Calvin is working and all I wanted to do was sleep but found out late last night that some friends of ours from Indy will be in town and will be coming over for a cookout.  So, I will be grocery shopping and cleaning on Saturday.  My rest will have to wait until Sunday    We shall see.  Sometime this weekend I have to find time to pick up a couple pairs of black slacks and oxford shirts and skid proof blk shoes.  My orientation at Bakers Square starts Monday. Good morning Illinois!! Well its finally friday!! Yippie!! Well got my workout done this morning. Having trouble with my bowels. i drink tons of water and take fiber so I hope it works!! This weekend I got orientation for my teaching job and then my nephews birthday party!!

Hi Amanda - Good for you on keeping up on the workout.  Dr. R told me to up my liquids when I was have bowel issues but since you're already doing that.. I'm not sure what to suggest.   Have fun at your nephews b-day party  Christina

Good Morning IL~ Chris, have funa and be safe this weekend! Christina, I am so happy to hear that Calvin is doing so much better and has been released to go back lightduty!  This might help him to keep his mind off of things!  If you don't mind me asking,  what size black pants would you need?  I used to work at Red Lobster and we had to wear black pants and white shirts and black nonskid shoes also.  I still have my slacks. I believe they are a size 18.  They are WAY to small for me, so I wouldn't  mind handing them down! Today the kids and I are going to the pool. Today is DH Ryan's birthday!  31 years old!!!  We started dating when we were 18.  We have NO plans for this weekend!  I plan to clean the house and just RELAX!!!!  Okay..went for another bike ride last night.  Is it common for you butt and crotch to hurt when riding????  I haven't been on a bike since 8th grade, so I'm thinking that "it" just needs to get used to it! I hope everyone has a safe and cool weekend!   God Bless, Kim Christina, Think about when it would be a good time to paint the kitchen!!  I really would not mind helping!  This year I was on a painting kick!  I painted the kitchen a sage green, the dining room a victorian red and our bedroom and burnt orange.  I love color and decorating!  So PLEASE take me up on the offer!  I goes by faster when you have someone to chit chat w/!!!!

Happy Birthday to Ryan    Have a great time at the pool today.  That sounds like a  good place  to be. As far as the pants go.. I'm mostly wearing 20's and can wear a few 18's depending on the style/cut.  They have to be regular length.  Do you know if your pants are regular or petite?   If you don't get used to the bike seat, they have some xtra padded seats at the bike shops that may help. I seriously may take you up on the painting.  I enjoy it but you're right, it's so much faster when you have someone to share the fun with..  Maybe you can help me out in the decorating dept too.  Everyone likes spending other peoples money right?? Good Morning!  I am going to a trade show up in Schaumburg today with my boss.  We will be checking out all the new embroidery machines and screen printing things.  I have never been to one of these so it will be interesting.   Tonight my two boys, Tyler and Jacob, will go to their dad's for the weekend and Austyn, my stepson will be home with us.  I plan on cleaning my kitchen from top to bottom including pulling out the stove and things because we are being invaded by fruit flies.  We have no food out on the counters and we can't figure out where they are coming from our how to get rid of them!!  Any ideas anyone??? I also have to get my van in for a check up and oil change before we drive to TN next Saturday.  Other than that, nothing much going on this weekend. Christina, I am so glad to hear that Calvin is doing so well. Makes my heart happy for you guys. Do you have a sack of potatos or onions anywhere?

I did find a sack of rotten onions under a bowl that one of the boys put over the top of in a cabinet. This was a few days ago.  The flies were all over that, but how do I get rid of them now???   Gotta love boys huh?  something's rotten?  oh just cover it up!  LOL

Too funny!  Well it's not but it is.  Boys will be boys. I left a couple bannanas in the kitchen when we went on vacation.  UGH.  Yucko.  I had to use some kind of Raid bug flying spray.  It did the trick. Hey, don't wait until the last minute on your van..  I took my pathfinder in last wed to minike (sp?).. first mistake.. should have taken it to the dealership.  The muffler was loose but not too bad.  Calvin wanted it fixed since I was traveling such a distance and alone.  Well, they had to order a part, the part came in on Thursday, they put the part on and it made it 10x worse.  I could not drive the pathfinder.  I had to drive the car because they had to order another part and it did not come in until Monday.  Urgggg.  It all worked out since I did not bring back any of Amanda's stuff but I would have really been limited if the plan had worked out the way it was supposed to.
