Thursday Roll Call

GM girls and boys of IL. Bet you are kind of surprised to see my face.  I have had a really busy week with work and then trying to get ready for this weekend and that did not even hardly allow any PC time.  I sat and surfed in my easy chair a couple of times this week but was so darn tired that I fell asleep doing it.   Well, is there anything in particular that is special going on with you today or in the next few days?  Dave and I as I mentioned are taking the local commuter train down to the Loop on Friday and we are staying at the Allerton Hotel on Michigan Ave. We are meeting up with another WLS group that many of them are coming in from around the country for the gathering. We have a couple scheduled times to eat together and then the rest of the time it is not structured and you can do as you want. Dave and I plan on doing the Segway tour on Friday and then maybe go on the tall ship lake tour Saturday. We have not decided on Sunday yet. We each pack light with one small suitcase with wheels and off we go. We went last year on this same weekend and it was fabulous. I think that it is supposed to be a lille humid but who cares Chgo has air conditioning, we are in the 21st century! We joke at my job that we finally have arrived in the 20th century. The village is so behind the times it seems. Even management will joke about it. Well, need to get cookn' and get ready for work.  & , Christine

Morning Chris  & the rest of IL - Things are busy, busy at work so I have had little down time to be on OH.  I'm just pluggin along trying to do the right things.  I'm actually looking forward to the weekend.  I really need to catch up on my rest.  It's a plan that never works.

I sure know about the lack of down time. Even though we will be on the go each day we are in the Loop we will be away from our respective jobs and just have fun. Even though we will be on the go each day it will be relaxing. Actually, we will be down there again at the end of Sept with Moody Bible Inst. for a mini conference. We will be staying 4 days down there then. We will drive then because we have free parking while there.  Chris

Happy Thursday!! Well went to workout this morning so now I have energy!! Getting ready for work then coming home to prepare more for my class that I will teach. it is less than 2 weeks away so the panic has set in

Good Morning everyone!  I woke up in a great mood today and am very excited about my appt with the nut yesterday.  I am on my way! Today I will be busy at work, I have to embroider 48 hats with a middle school logo, I hate doing hats!  they are a pain.   After work I will pick up my stepson and take him for a Dr's appt, he's been having bad neck pain and he also will be getting a physical.  I am worried about him with the neck pain thing, he's only 9!  He lives here as his bio mom died when he was 2, so I am mom and the only ones he knows.  He's got some behavioral issues too, but we are working on those.   After that I have to register him for school and then it's home for dinner and rest.   Chris, I hope that you have Dave have a fabulous weekend Christina, I hope that you get a chance to rest some this weekend!! and I hope that everyone else has a great day!!

Hi Monica - Glad you woke up in a good mood.  Things are moving right along for you.  I hope they figure out why your son is having the neck pain.  Prayers being sent for the little guy that is not anything serious. I have some small tool bags at work that we are interested in seeing if they can be embroydered.  One of the guys I work w/ has a pretty nice machine at home and he took one home and said he could not do it because he needed the bag to be disasembled .  Is there someone I can talk to at your co to see if it's possible?  If you want, just pm me the info.  I can send you a picture of the bag and the logo we are looking at. If the bag has to be taken apart we can't do it either.  Our machines aren't the ones that can do that.  Sorry.  My company name is Transfer Pass and it's just me and the owner that work there.  VERY small!  lol As for Austyn's Dr appt, things went well I suppose, the Dr isn't sure why he's having neck stiffness, actually.  He did order an entire spine x-ray to look for any scoliosis....hopefully that's not it!  Thanks for asking
