info on nutritionists for Aetna

i have Aetna pos and i am at the end of my 6 month doctor supervised diet, what i would like to know is how many times are required to see the nutritionist during this 6 months? when i thought i was going to have surgery in belvidere i met with the nutritionist there a couple of times now i have nothing to prove it so i have started over with another one through a local hospital....i'm just afraid that i won't get enough visits in at the end of my 6 month diet please tell me how many times any of you have gone thank you

Pam, geez I think that Aetna needs to answer this. They have a set protocol when it comes to this. I am going to take a guess and say that sometimes they (depending on the ins.) wants something every month and then sometimes a couple of times. You might want to post this on both the insurance board and the main board. You might get more traffic there to see your question. Since the main board moves so fast you may have to post it a couple of times so it is seen by many people. Chris
